It's the exact same. It can feel like it's better on bonus buys but that's only because you get them so much more frequently and by the weight of numbers are more likely to see a bigger hit. But the chances of hitting big are the exact same in any given bonus

There's no point playing slots like that in the UK because they're basically built for bonus buys. I quit gambling a few months ago now and lack of enjoyment was on of the reasons.
