Javascript has evolved significantly. In my opinion, the language as of ES3 was horrible, but it was sufficient to launch the popularity of Node.js (and of course the use of JS in web browsers). But by ES6 it had become a pretty nice language. Add Typescript and it becomes a language that in my opinion is superior to Python. Of course, Python is the de facto standard for machine learning, so I use Python regularly, but I'm always happier when working in Typescript.
Nice and pretty much agree with everything you just said although I do think that C++ is a garbage language syntactically, even if its powerful. But yeh JS is a paradox and django is bloated for what it does.
