    strange oak and pine needle steamed dish, very unique !
    looks interesting and gotta try it with our quite different looking german oaks and common pine needles
    the way you sealed the dough bags btw is just the same like I did it a few hours ago .....approved traditional method in India, Germany, Italy, China and I guess everywhere else in the world

    • @itsmountaingirl
      @itsmountaingirl  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes definetly try this method but please choose healthy leaves and needles..in this seasons there may be eggs of insect on the leaves so be careful..and this dish is super tasty if you make it properly..thanx for your support

      @@itsmountaingirl thanks for the reminder - wouldn’t have watched for gross insects and their eggs
      did you ever tried this with walnut leaves instead of this strange oak you got there
      ?
      I really like the smell my walnuts are emitting when I am pruning or otherwise hurting them and you just gave me an idea with your leaf-steamed dish you made

      and you are quite cute and living in an very beautiful area - you should have more subscribers !
      maybe if you create videos about things that are widely known and unknown at the same time, it will draw more attention to your channel
      here in the west there is at least a bit of interest in traditional medicine from abroad, including ayurvedic knowledge and many people try to cultivate their own foreign herbs to prevent or combat illnesses…..but very often without really knowing how
      so if you know about the traditional way, or only know someone who would teach you about it and are using this to create a video, including you and your beautiful country, it will maybe draw more folks to your channel
      people who are interrested in traditional medicine and and as well in growing plants often like also unspoiled landscapes and people…..them ae not too many and they won’t come all at once, but comes time, they should come and most likely stay
      yesterday I planted Marsilea minuta and Bacopa monnieri back into the garden and Centella asiatica is about to join them soon - they should all be somehow native in your broader area, maybe called something like Sushni, Brahmi and Gotu Kola there, and the informations about their natural growing conditions and appropriate usage here on yt is either mostly theoretical crap or simply too hindi for nonindians
      create clips about such herbs and veggies and you’ll stick out much more and have less competition as you having as a traditional local cuisine channel only
      and regarding cooking - how to make indian base ingredients that you can’t get everywhere easily outside of india,or just outside your area, could be another thing that should attract some viewers
      guess some of those millions of indians abroad, are cut off enough from an addiquate supply, that they are forced to either buy everything on the internet, or to make their own basic stuff ….and other people too - I for instance have to come up with my own recipe for making jaggery myself or drive 30 miles to the next asian grocery, not good !

    • @itsmountaingirl
      @itsmountaingirl  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @gladstane gonder i never try with walnut leaves...we always do with oak and pine leaves..other leaves may give colour or odour to your dish if you use them...in my knowledge walnut leaves has their own smell and when they get smeamed they may be give that odour to your dish awalnut leaves also secret orange colour if you know...meanwhile oak which we use here has no odour itself..neither secret colour..walnut leaves are to soft in my knowledge..they may be get cooked istead of giving support to your dough buns..for making this steamer u need leaves which dont have their own strong odour or colour and they must be not that soft so they cant be cooked before your dish..and i m not that good with english so sorry if i made any mistake
