    Ofcourse, this is based on houdini pyro , rendered in redshift, edited in davinci resolve, finally composited in after effects.

      Thank you. Much appreciated. You are very kind. 🙂 I should point out that I did a lot of rnd with pyro but my fundamental knowledge is from none other than Mr.Knipping's tutorials (applied Houdini). 🙂

      @@resilientpicture cheers need to give him a look, as your tutorial was great and all but I had trouble understanding every part (mainly becuase I'm new to houdini) which led to me searching up what certain nodes/attributes do, but again that's mainly becuase of my lack of knowledge

      I'm really sorry, you couldn't understand certain things. After I recorded the tutorial it was like 9 hours long. Lol,😂, so, I had to edit it as much as possible to keep it concise. Maybe next time, I'll try and do it better. 🙂

      Can you pls check if sphere is not set to primitive. It should be polygon with a freq of preferably 8 or above.

    hi. thanks for the tutorial! I cant visualise my noise pattern at 10:54 :( I clicked the icon in the node. Also, tried to visualise it manually.
    Any ideas?

    • @resilientpicture

      Hmm, thats strange. Is the visualizer turned on? Its the google pin kinda icon at the bottom of the list where you select normal, point numbers etc.,

    thanks! i did not wanted to dive into the latest sparse solver cause it seems side-fx did an amazing job at making it all easier for users , wich usually means less understanding of what is going on inside the nodes if it 's all done for you.I also wanted to say that i need to divide the object center ''y'' of the smoke object at a greater amount(under the ground) or i do not have much results with the fireball. Again thanks a lot sir, it is gold for a beginner like me! See you on the part two ;)

    • @resilientpicture
      @resilientpicture  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are welcome, Of course Sidefx did a great job making it easy. Luckily this tutorial was done prior to 18.5 release, hence I explained all in detail. I also released a new tutorial with sparse solver. I think, for your questions, I might have explained these in the next few parts. Have fun and thanks for your comments.

    Sorry but your tutorial looks familiar with applied Houdini's tutorial and you still use legacy pyro in 2020?

    • @resilientpicture
      @resilientpicture  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's ok, I learned a lot from applied Houdini. Infact, I actually consulted with him about this tutorial series. 🙂 But, these tutorials are from my rnd work after that. I am not sure if creating pyro from inside dop network is legacy, it is still widely used. Ofcourse there is a sop method for this but for now this has the best control in my opinion. Hope that makes sense.

    Hello.
    I'm really sorry -- I have another question -- my flames suddenly die at frame 51. I need to see them dissipate. As my scale is a little bigger; i increased the iniitial velocites coming in.
    Any idea where I could look to avoid this untimely death, and to prevent it?
    thanks a lot!
