    Also the far side next to the fence, if you wanted to could you push it up right against the fence without needing access on that far side elevation for the assembly? Cheers again

      Usman Khaliq I would need to empty it first, but yes it slides quite easy when fully constructed & empty :-)

    Brill, I could do with a new shed, mine has been slowly toppling for the last four years, the door now doesn't fit squarley in the frame... good track as well.

      The storms we've had here in the UK over the last few weeks finally destroyed the old wooden shed, it was 18 years old ! so lasted well, as you say: the door on mine didn't fit properly either, and the felt roof needed replacing (again) so hopefully I can just jet-wash this new one :-)

    Hello i have just bought the same shed as yours, and have a problem with the doors seeming to short as when doors closed there is a 12mm gap from the top of the door to the shed facia bit which lets the rain in, do you have a gap?

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No gap, it’s a snug fit top & bottom of the doors. Have you got the top and side facias fully home ? That sounds like the issue.

      @@kvfive Thanks for taking the time to reply, the facia and sides are fitting spot on by the looks of the reviews its luck of the draw if the doors fit nicely, it just looks like the doors are to short lol

    After two years, how would you rate the shed now

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As good as the day we put it up, zero issues, withstood all the heavy winds. Happily do it all again.

      @@macguyo I built a 2nd one (exactly as this one) back in May this year for my mother, she’s very pleased with it, maintenance free was what impressed her - just wash it down once a year.

      @@kvfive funny enough, am buying it and building it for my mum too

      @kvfive  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@macguyo Excellent, I’m sure it’ll serve her well. Things to note, it’ll never feel as sturdy as a regular wooden shed, you cannot put in your own shelves, screws in the sides to hang things on etc. and the base you prepare must be level. I’ve used these free standing shelving units in both I’ve built (Amazon - 150cm - blue metal structure with wooden slot-in shelves) Hope this helps :-)

    Hiya is the shed 6x6ft. I've looked at it and the measurements aren't?

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s just shy of 6x6.

    did you find any difficulties arising out of using the ecobase as level platform when putting the shed together? Cheers.

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usman Khaliq I got the eco base pretty level (which helped immensely) I wouldn’t say it caused any issues whilst putting the shed together, I was surprised how sturdy the eco base is once clicked together and filled with 10mm gravel. I did make a dry mix of sand & cement and brushed it over the gravel / eco base - a light watering and it’s all set solid.

    Do you think this is something that can be disassembled for transport? Looked at the how to and seems to be alot of things clicked into place rather than screwed(which would be easily removable)

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So sorry for the late reply, yes it can be disassembled and moved, it’s held (mostly) in place with these big plastic bolts, the only thing you’d need to realign would be the roof panels, just mark them on the inside so they go back where they can from.

    Totally forgot I asked you a bunch of questions! I'm still debating whether or not to get the shed and came across the viideo again. Thank you so much for your replies kvfive really appreciate it! Did you anchor it at all once you had finished?

    • @kvfive
      @kvfive  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usman Khaliq No to anchoring down, I have a petrol lawnmower and metal shelving / tools etc, it’s pretty firmly planted. I can’t move it anyways :-)

    Somewhat helpful video, but you really need at least one other camera angle. Much of what you're doing is partially to completely blocked from view
