It such a sad story😢 but you did the right thing. It’s really not the kid fault n he’s already so sick if you abandon him again it’s nothing good to come out of it except just adding another sad and devastating to your older kid. Just remember this, he might not be your blood but kids these day, even your own blood, we might gave them blood but we might not gave them heart. Some people even gone and adopted kid. Never know, this kid might love you more than your own kids. Have a big heart, even though she cheated on you but hope she learned her lesson and take her irresponsible behavior in the future.
