As Yan said, Mudryk came from a situation that was very different from the EPL in coaching, tactics, and, importantly, level of competition. These things make him very raw and unpolished from a Western European football point of view. What that means is that he needs time and lots of it on the training ground and with coaches. I would expect him to really begin to integrate next season and beyond.
Mudryk will hopefully come good. I just don’t want another KDB, Salah, or Musiala…he needs a loan or for the team to get better as a whole so he can come in when we are 2-0 up so he can get at it without too much pressure. I like the kid and hope we see him shine
I read Mudryk asked to be loaned out and was refused. Some fans appear to not realize that this young man has come to this club at a time that his country was and continues to be ravaged in war. I can't help but laugh at the league and fans response not too long ago by "standing with Ukraine". Coming to a club like Chelsea can be overwhelming in the best of times for young players. Mudryk needs a run of games and he has not been given that. None of our wingers have been and I guess that is on Poch who is still fishing for the best 11. Personally I would loan Mudryk for a season to see what he can do when given a chance to start and play consistently before making the decision to sell.
Honestly imo I don't think we should sell Mudryk and make a rash decision. Mudryk is young can't expect big things from him when he's not playing or coming from the bench doesn't have that sort of impact he has to start games and be in the game to get the best out of him. Was super excited for this transfer icl
We fans cannot know the physio reality. We can only guess. Is this “change of personnel” scapegoating or an improvement? Only people within the club know.
honestly its hard to make a decision on mudryk but he's simply hasnt been good enough and if we signed him for 25-30m, he would have been loaned in jan. Loaning an 88.5m player sums up his time here currently. he has moments in games, but the only game i thought he was great was his debut. i think we need to sign a striker as priority but a winger is also neeeded
Mudryk has a lot of tools for counter attacking. Seems he can only do things at pace, because he doesn’t seem to fit in the play out the back, build up, possession style. He’s young enough to get some coaching to learn this, let’s not give up on the lad.
Mudryk will probably come good, but I don't see it happening at Chelsea, and/or anytime soon. It's because Chelsea already has a very inconsistent and unsettled team, and we can't afford to nurture a raw under-coached talent like Mudryk. Darwin Nunez comparison is flawed in the sense that Nunez misses a lot of chances or hits the bar, but he consistently displays his ability on the ball. Also, Nunez plays in a much more settled and well organized Liverpool team who aren't suffereing from lack of identity and inconsistencies like us. Either we loan Mudryk out and ensure he gets a good amount of game time- maybe like a Broja arrangement where he's guaranteed games or else we get a big loan fee.
I think Mudryk would benefit from a loan to a smaller club/league. Jumping up from the Ukrainian league to the Premier League is quite the leap. Send him to Milan for a season, and maybe that will sweeten the pot to try and lure Theo away from Milan too
Some players need to calm down in order to play football and other have to fight hard to succeed. Mudryk falls to the category of calming down yet Gallagher has to work hard. I don't think Porch has an idea how to help players like Mudryk and Noni
We can't just give up on him becos people are saying all kind of things. This guy single Handley made real Madrid right look like an ordinary player when he played against Shatner Donetsk in the champions league. This is the Same modrky that played against Liverpool on his first match that looks promising. He just need a proper loan.
Selling Mudryk would be a huge mistake. Every game he has done something well the next game he gets benched. He needs more game time and is definitely better than Sterling at this time
Can be a signal for Poch that board will back him on players he doesn't and does like. Poch for another year with Chelsea already -seems like, maybe Galadog will stay then
I would basically send Mudrcyk to the academy team. It sounds like they precipitated his debut in Ukraine. There's tactical knowledge that he needs to obtain before deciding his future.
When we actually get a left back instead of playing a cb there when he plays there will be a difference. Go back and watch his gameplay he’s dying for a through ball. The problem is he has to come to the ball which isn’t his best. He needs to get running and look for 1 on 1s like we saw in preseason and a couple times this year.
Under-coached is right. Had he come through our academy Mudryk would have spent most of his time playing at left back and a big chuck of the rest playing centre forward.
How many young talented inconsistent players are we going to sell or ignore . Salah, Kevin, Kylian 🙄😒. We things like keep Broja but sell Kevin. Buy Aba but want to sell Gallagher. 😭 😭 😭
Mudryk is on a long contract, not terribly high wages, there's nothing wrong with keeping him. So what if he's not playing now. Similar with noni, just because they aren't getting a lot of time now doesn't mean they aren't valuable to have. That being said, a loan for mudryk might be really good and who cares if people think it looks bad.
I think we don’t have the right environment at the club to nurture young talent. Mudryk should go on loan where he can get better coaching with less pressure.
Poch was brought in specifically for improving this youthful squad (the youngest in the EPL) hence "the project". Unfortunately he hasn't lived up to it. He would rather work Cole Palmer to exhaustion playing him WHERE MISHA IS SUPPOSED TO PLAY. Mudryk needs more games to play the same way Connor, and now Disasi needed more time to play and grow. If our recent form continues, Poch might stay for another season costing the club money IF THE MAKE THE SALAH DEBRUYNE MISTAKE WITH MUDRYK. If he had gone to Arsenal he would be picking his form by now. He has to play. He has the talent. He just needs Poch to trust him and unfortunately Poch is a coward.
Let’s stop sugar coating it our recruitment has mostly been poor, to spend 88.5 million for someone who Shaktar found doing skills on TikTok is Ludicrous! One of the worst signings we’ve ever made, he has no football brain, and is no where near good enough to be playing in the premier league nevermind Chelsea. Cucurella another example so poor no where near good enough! Cut our losses and sell a few players and bring in some experience and quality
Mudryk will come good. He needs a lot training but he will come good. A loan move will do him good. Changes In our medical department is needed. Wish them well.
These young ones are brittle, they need a different approach it seems to harden them up. Before we had “hardened” players so hopefully the new guy will have some new methods on strengthening these young ones instead of just stretching them.
Pochetino trembles. De Dzerbu released Mudryk in the match with Monaco in overtime and broke the bank of 40 million for the transition to the group of the Champions League. Misha, like a kitten, needs to be stroked, not forced. Sell ego to Brighton

What are we thinking trying to sell Mudryk? I know those guys have training sessions every week, maybe he just looks really bad in them, but he hasn't even played enough minutes for us to warrant this behavior. I feel like they haven't even given him enough of a chance so far. He's clearly shown there's something in him and if we were any smart we'd first give him any minute we can spare to see where it goes and where he develops towards. Get that potential out of him instead of giving up. I know he's 22 but he's still largely inexperienced. We've all seen these posts comparing the professional minutes of Mudryk and Enzo. Don't have anything against a loan. Send him to Strasbourg or somewhere to the Championship but DON'T SELL HIM. He's sort of an analogy of our whole team atm. Individually we got class players but it's just not working as a system as well as we want. Mudryk has, in isolation, everything to be a world class player, but he's just not putting it together and into the team.
I would sell him while we still can... His value will constantly drop. Like Broja. Chelsea should have took the 25mil and run. They won't be getting that now. The club that took him will rather pay 4mil than play him! Imagine that.
I think a combination of Mudryk trying too hard to impress and wrong setup/system for him. Extremely useful player when we need pace behind a high line defense. Wing backs like Chilwell chew into his space and hes not able to tactically adjust just yet. Id like to see 2 or 3 formations to reflect game management and opposition. Definitely a place for Mudryk and a loan won't help his confidence
Salah is a prime example here, we sold him when he was inconsistent. Mudryk case could be similar

Give him a loan to Strasbourg or a German team. Modrky will definitely do well
We can't just give up on him becos people are saying all kind of things.
He needs more game time and is definitely better than Sterling at this time
Don't sell Mudryk. It's just a rough patch. We'll regret this.
Can be a signal for Poch that board will back him on players he doesn't and does like. Poch for another year with Chelsea already -seems like, maybe Galadog will stay then
New medical team would be our best signing since Hazard
I would basically send Mudrcyk to the academy team. It sounds like they precipitated his debut in Ukraine. There's tactical knowledge that he needs to obtain before deciding his future.
When we actually get a left back instead of playing a cb there when he plays there will be a difference. Go back and watch his gameplay he’s dying for a through ball. The problem is he has to come to the ball which isn’t his best. He needs to get running and look for 1 on 1s like we saw in preseason and a couple times this year.
Same fans saying Mudryk needs more time spent years abusing Pulisic who is pretty much the main reason we could even compete for the UCL we won.
FFS Mudryk didn't cost £88m, why the fv
Under-coached is right. Had he come through our academy Mudryk would have spent most of his time playing at left back and a big chuck of the rest playing centre forward.
He needs a loan
You do realise Zinchenko is also Ukrainian, yet performs better than Mudryk?
looking at how quite a few of the new signings have flopped, does make one wonder why the were signed in the first place.
How many young talented inconsistent players are we going to sell or ignore . Salah, Kevin, Kylian 🙄😒. We things like keep Broja but sell Kevin. Buy Aba but want to sell Gallagher. 😭 😭 😭
Never Gallagher not leaving see how he play he the better player he can't leave the board will give him new contract poch like Gallagher
@@NehemiahFawole-dx1rx We should sell one of the other midfield players 🙄 🤐
Lukaku, Kepa, maatsen, Hall, probably challobah ( sadly) & possibly DD Fofana will all go before mudryk.
I've seen no evidence whatsoever to indicate that Mudryk will be a great player
💙
Let’s stop sugar coating it our recruitment has mostly been poor, to spend 88.5 million for someone who Shaktar found doing skills on TikTok is Ludicrous! One of the worst signings we’ve ever made, he has no football brain, and is no where near good enough to be playing in the premier league nevermind Chelsea.
Cucurella another example so poor no where near good enough! Cut our losses and sell a few players and bring in some experience and quality
Ahh yeah man let’s go! 180k!!!
3 coaches no one fancy himself writing is on the wall. Seems like the sale was a way to funnel money to the Ukraine war or something
Mudryk will come good. He needs a lot training but he will come good. A loan move will do him good.
Changes In our medical department is needed. Wish them well.
MUDRYK shoud of come on as a SUB AGAINST CITY HIS PACE WOULD OF GOT THEM
No it wouldn't
When exactly does he show this pace ? Hardly ever.
Some of these young players need to go on loan. How does FFP work if you sell players for big loss, does the loss offset ffp numners
We can't just give up on him becos people are saying all kind of things. This guy single Handley made real Madrid right look like an ordinary player when he played against Shatner Donetsk in the champions league. This is the Same modrky that played against Liverpool on his first match that looks promising. He just need a proper loan.
He’s lost the ball more than every other player in his position in the Premier league 😂 I think we got conned
we should be supporting and coaching Mudryk full stop, he is a very young very skilled player, the sh1t going down in his home country is fkin awful, how is his family doing ???
i couldnt focus on a fkin spreadsheet if that kind of sh1t was going down in my home country, let alone trying to be a top sports person putting in maximum effort and worrying about my family
Keep Mudryk. keep Noni.. they will both improve. Still need CForward real bad. Axel Disasi new boy is smashing it
Mudryk loan to Serie A or a newly promoted PL team. I do not believe we will have the same fitness issues next season.
Fantasies…
Mudryk needs to go on loan somewhere he will play day-in-day-out. He just needs more experience and he's not getting that on the bench here.

These all young players need guidance and especially Mudryk. Perhaps he just needs more time to understand everything around him.
I would sell him while we still can... His value will constantly drop. Like Broja. Chelsea should have took the 25mil and run. They won't be getting that now. The club that took him will rather pay 4mil than play him! Imagine that.
How can he give up on Mudryk while he rarely put him in the pitch?
We need Maatsen back, he’s a quality player from what I’ve seen and much more likely to perform than some of the other youngsters.
Pochettino was to able to play him and preferred even Colwill in that role. He do not want him
Likkle leng tings🥲
We should use him in a swap deal for pedro neto hes class
Or Leao 👀
He shouldn't sale him Chelsea FC must keep this player 🎉
I think a combination of Mudryk trying too hard to impress and wrong setup/system for him. Extremely useful player when we need pace behind a high line defense. Wing backs like Chilwell chew into his space and hes not able to tactically adjust just yet. Id like to see 2 or 3 formations to reflect game management and opposition. Definitely a place for Mudryk and a loan won't help his confidence
He could be the new KDB just give him some time 👍
Maybe the next Eden Hazard or better than Eden?
