    And this is a great episode. Going over mental Frameworks of how individuals and teams interact and develop from a junior role to the CEO.
    Very true, everybody is looking to be right, and nobody wants to look wrong or ill-informed. But as she said, the goal is, do you have a successful outcome!

    Already loved this in the first 5mins when Ami said "Nobody is winning it, keep figuring it out" , it started the emotional connect with how all of our journeys are different and we all are trying to be better. Also desire to be right v/s assimilating feedback and listen more was amazing. This is most certainly among the BEST podcast that you might have done :) . Thanks Lenny and Ami

    Great conversation on all accounts - honest, grounded, holistic and enlightening. Also, +1 to the use of metaphors and analogies. I believe they are a very strong tool in aligning teams and stakeholders to a coherent direction/ strategy... work by helping folks visualize (e.g., Hill climb) and/ or provide benchmarks (e.g., like Apple was able to ....) thus alleviating fear of the unknown to a large extent.

    Superb!! It's one of the finest podcasts I heard in recent times. 🎉

    Fascinating, will always be the unemotional reflection of Spock for me. Ami's take, is very much the same.

    Wonderful message to start through 5:00 min - thanks for that! Point shared: keep figuring things out, be authentic, and know that it’s not all about being perfect. So some acknowledgement on what is serving you: even if doesn’t involve making a plan, then focus on the core important work to be done. Rather than overly focused on the end-state of only one outcome that can be not the best then.

    I used to read her substack way back when she decided to start sharing some of her learnings. Turns out she had no learnings to share at all, and used substack to just state the most obvious things. Gave up after reading 2 or 3 posts.

      jealousy is a terrible, terrible thing. if you are gna criticize without adding value, please tuck your tail in. do you have inspiring content of your own that we can assess in this public forum where you chose to share your criticism.

      Giving feedback from the bleachers?! Nasty work. Ami is a fantastic young leader with a lot of wisdom worth tapping into.

    Hey Lenny, can you ask more examples for each of those opinions or takes ? It seemed dry and was trying to think hard to apply to my situations

    • @norahhan0408
      @norahhan0408 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think Lenny really tried to ask for examples. But it just didn’t come out. Feel this episode is a bit more fluffy than some of the others.
