at 30:00 'student level of participation' is the dependent variable and 'SES of family' and 'habitat of family' are the independent variables. In this casse method cannot be a variable. Method could have been a variable only if it was a comparative study

Sir, shouldnt the answer for the last question be socio-economic status? We manipulate the socio-economic status of the students (IV) to assess any effect in their participation (DV). The lecture method is the control variable which remains constant.

Sir I don’t think other name of extraneous variable is artifact. Bcz artifact and confounf are types of extraneous v. the main synonym according to me should be intervener v. bcz extraneous variables intervene in the research process.

I would like to add one more concept about DV and IV, result of DV depends upon the value of IV during research so that it is called DV where as IV doesn't depends upon the result of DV so that it is called IV. In simple way, cause is independent of effect but effect depends on cause.
