OK this audio sounds GREAT!!!!! 🙂 A friend decided Like Others to move out of California and he had this B77 in his garage that was given to him from his dad, but he never hooked it up, so he asked me if I wanted it and if I did I could just have it.. 🙂 Naturally as someone who fixes vintage electronics for the last 40 years, I decided to take it and check it out. It came with about 30 tapes as well, lots of Orange Music and classical stuff.. Stuff I enjoy listening to.. So doing a search I came across this video... I have not powered it on yet, but hope to soon... I have the same Sencore PR570 isolation transformer, like you said a critical item along with a Dim Bulb tester... Robert
HI Almando, would it be possible to send you the boards for my Revox PR99 separately so you can check if they are ok or if they would need restoration?
Aloha, Almando. Would you know if it's possible to convert a low speed B-77 2 track machine to a high speed one? I figure if anyone out there knows if it's possible, it would be you.
