Master of Puppets is considered the greatest heavy metal song and album of all time. The Black Album is a great album for newbies but Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning are 2 of the best Heavy Metal albums of all time. It takes a while for newbies to realy appreciate 80s Metallica. You need to hear the songs Hit the Lights, The Four Horseman, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black, and Creeping Death from their first 2 albums, but the whole Master of Puppets album is a must. Picking the best songs does not do it justice.
Hit the Lights and Four Horseman are from Kill 'em All, which also needs a good listening to. Really sets the stage of early / mid 80s metal in the SF scene and gives you a good idea where these kids came from. Not their best album but it's legit.
Try Metallica - Battery at their 1989 Seattle live, they were at their prime 🤘 Welcome to the Metallica family, enjoy the ride through the best rabbit hole you can jump through 🤘💀🤘
Master of Puppets was the very first CD I ever bought in 1986, right after I got a CD player as a prize from work. Still have it and listen regularly. A masterpiece.
The algorithm gods have blessed you. I remember the first time I heard this album. Very cool to see a young fellow discovering this for the first time nearly 40 years later. I am subscribing to see how you enjoy the rest. Rock on, Max🤘🏼
youtube randomly recommended this video to me, and you seem cool. my fave song on this album is disposable heroes. actually hardcore thrash at its finest.
Man i wish i can go back and listen to this shit for the first time again. If you really think that about the black album man are you in for a treat cause all the 80s stuff is just better but the black album is great too but compared to them first 3 albums nothing beats that trio and i can even add justice for all in there even though not alot like it cause the lack of bass. Keep rockin and listening to new stuff
awesome stuff!! metallica has some absolute bangers!! I'm from Perth too. dive into all their songs because they are coming here next year. I've seen all their Perth shows
Não sei como vim parar aqui, mas com certeza essa musica é muito foda! Dica: Tente a música "Rebirth" da banda Angra, essa música também tem uma mistura de violão e guitarra muito boa.
Commenting here because the dyers' eve video has comments turned off - pretty much all of early Metallica is this good! Depending on which song you liked the sound of more production-wise, I would listen to some songs off the respective albums they're on next, with Battery being on the Master of Puppets album and Dyers' Eve being on ...And Justice for All, respectively. Good picks off Master of Puppets are Disposable Heroes, Orion and Master of Puppets, and for AJFA I would recommend the songs Blackened, Frayed Ends of Sanity and One! All bangers.
Check out Sanitarium next...easily one of their best songs. When it comes to Metallica, listen to the albums Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and And Justice for all. Full of bangers! I'll also throw in Death Magnetic, a later album that i rate highly.
Ride the Lightning is my favorite album 😌 ( coincidentally James Hetfield's favorite as well 😁), then Master of Puppets, and Kill Em' All in a very close third 😎 enjoy your Metallica journey and discover which is your favorite album 😃
hello ! my favorites songs from metallica at the moment are and justice for all, leper messiah, house jack builld, low mans lyric and hero of the day... those are nice songs

Amazingly. Metallica has been in their prime for the last 50 years it seems. Wild!

This album is legendary. You WILL need Ride the Lightning if this one hits.
Sounds better when you play any song on CD or when you hear it in radio 😄

You looks like young Lars ulrich, Metallica drummer
Я думаю тебе стоит продолжать делать реакции на рок музыку.

Not a bad album from a group of drunk 20 something year olds. I predict a good future for them. 😁🤘
