  • Take your indoor cycling to the next level and bike the world at your own speed:
Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for PC. The app lets you take control of the speed of our cycling videos and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on TH-cam. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

About Grossglockner High Alpine Road and the Edelweissspitze from Fusch
The ride to Edelweißspitze takes you to the highest peak reachable by road bike in the Alps. To get to the peak you follow the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. This road is the highest surfaced mountain pass road in Austria. The ride begins with an almost flat warm-up through a valley with beautiful views of the mountains. As you move into the valley the road gets steeper and steeper. Once you pass the toll booth, you have jaw-dropping views for the remainder of the ride. It is a very popular ride and you will pass many fellow cyclists on your climb. To finish the last segment you turn off the main road and the climb becomes increasingly difficult. You now ride in thin air on a very steep road made of copplestones. When you reach the top of the mountain peak you feel more like a mountaineer than a cyclist.

    Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute TH-cam and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, TH-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... The original sound of the ride has been left out. This is because the natural sound of the surroundings is drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing.

Marvelous. Your images are very stable, even in a hairpin curve perpendicular poles remain perpendicular. I wonder what type of vehicle you use. A trike? And you are always faster than other cyclists, an electric trike?

Just watched this one whilst on the turbo trainer this morning - absolutely epic yet again. Can I ask a question though. There did seem to be a lot of cyclists on the route both up and down. Do you know if there was a sportive on or can you tell me the date on which it was filmed and I can research it from there. Brilliant stuff

Hi Steve, It is just a very popular road. If you can pick a date to do it, do it on the yearly bike only day. The event is called GLOCKNERKÖNIG
