This is what I was expecting the Deadpool movies to be like, so I was disappointed when I finally watched them even though they were decent

I feel deadpool works best for this. I wish the first movie was more like this tbh. he just works best with no drama at all and anything goes logic.

The game was pretty good, but I think the enemy HP progressed faster than the RPG elements so in the latter stages some arenas were filled with bullet sponges.

Deadpool has healed from WAY crazier stuff than this. In the comic run written by Daniel Way, he convinced the Hulk to punch him so hard that he was only blood cells afterwards and regenerated his entire body 9 days later. In that same run it's stated by Blind Al that if his head is removed from his body, he can regrow a new one but it takes him a while. Once again in that same comic series, an obsessed psychiatrist of his collected all of his cut off limbs (and a head) that were left behind over the years and they eventually healed together when Deadpool found out and threw the parts away, creating a new and evil Deadpool. I highly recommend reading the Daniel Way Deadpool series as they're some of the best Deadpool comics he's been in before the movies came out.
I'm sorry for spoiling it but this series has way crazier stuff happening and is what really got me into the character.
