1 train with 2 wagons is fine, dont need a second train for this. If the trainline becomes part of a bigger train network, having fewer trains on it will keep the chance of deadlocks at a minimum. You can put a smart splitter on the belt that fills the trucks fuel stack. Set the left and right to overflow and any coal the truck doesnt use can be merged into the truckstations cargobelts 34:29 No matter from what angle you look at the station when pressing E, you will always see the same screen. There are 2 "inventories" in the station, but one of them is only 1 stack large. It is displayed at the left well below the big orange V. Your 'fuelbelt' only fills that one stack. The other two belts get mixed in the big inventory. 40:11 It didn't fully load up because your station wasn't fully loaded yet when it picked up the cargo. It doesn't continue to fill while stamding still, it only grabs what is inside when the loading animation starts. Don't worry about it, it is as it should be. You did well young grasshopper. One station is 48 stacks (49 if you count the fuel stack) a truck is also 48. Your belts max throughput is 480×2 (because you have 2 belts loading up) =960/min coal stacks to 100, so that is just under 10 stacks per minute. This means it fills up the station in 5 minutes flat IF your belts are fully used (which clearly they are not) so a single truck taking 4 minutes to do a round is capable of handling it. Edit: For next episode, treat yourself to an episode of exploration and research. In particular you want to go search for Somersloops and the research connected to them. You will not be dissapointed and it will make your accomplishments with the fuelplant even sweeter 😊
- I didn't know it was the same, somehow assumed it would be separate since there is an input for the fuel and in- & output for the cargo... 😄 - I need to learn so much😂 - You know, there is still an area we haven't see, mmm. Maybe we should have a look there and indeed see what I can build but also see what I need to/can research! Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
Don't rush to redo your truck routes... Slowing a bit for turns isn't a bad thing!! (You can manually delete some of the individual blue route markers to speed up trucks - the distance between them is indicative of the time to travel between them. But be careful around the turns!
I didn't know that was possible! So I have to bring the markers up and just walk the route to here and there delete some if I want to? Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
You should tap a little of that turbofuel off into a packager and use it for your jetpack... it's arguably the best fuel for jetpack as both duration and speed are great.
Can I just tap some off, will it not interfere with the generators or do you mean take 1 generator away and use the amount which is then left over? Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@ i would set up a packager somewhere and just run it long enough to fill a container of packaged turbofuel. Then turn it off. When the container gets lows, run it again as needed. It will starve some generators while its running, but a container full of packages will last you a long time.
🎼YOU GOT THE POWAHHHH!!🎼 😂 And in fact, Grams 44 Gigawatts, not just 4.4! 🤯 (44000 Mw ÷1000 to get 44 Gw) All said because you can make the title of your video EVEN MORE impressive 😂😂 This was truly such a fun episode with all the trucks, driving, not crashing and finishing this absolutely humongous powerplant 😆 I really can not wait to see what comes next especially now heading towards the next space elevator upgrade. Something that may help though is for your really tall factories instead of worrying about zhooping around ilom the jetpack and possibly face planting or swimming unwantedly 😆 I think you really should connect the levels of factories with hypertubes and use those for quick factory wide travel. Much laughter and hilarity would also be an added bonus 🤣😂 Can't wait til next episode and as always. Much love, Quack 💜
I have no idea how I had this but you are right, I indeed changed the title and will do the thumbnails... I am indeed busy with the canon, I am going to change my highway system! Me shooting through space into orbit.... I know my place 😂 Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy No problem at all Grams 😆 I've done things like that maaaany times. OHHHHHH, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS 😂😂😂 I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon enough 🤣 Oh, oh gosh! Not. Worry at all, the reply isn't late by any means either. How's everything going with that weather? Much love, Quack 💜
Weather and therefor power is very unstable still. As long as they can fix it as the weather conditions - ice, snow, wind - are making it very hard for the repairmen and it makes it very hard to reach certain places.. Going to try to record though, have hopefully a bit of fun while being out there 😄 Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy Oh yikes 😅 well I bless you to stay safe and for the weather to clear ASAP and that all power and Internet continues to work flawlessly from now on. Can't wait to see the next video!! Much love, Quack 💜
Did you remember to overclock the coal nodes? (It wasn't shown on camera, and if you didn't, having extra trucks isn't going to help as they can only load what the miners send them.
Yes, I indeed did overclock them 😄 There is 2x 300 (I think it was) to meet the amount of sulphur and therefor compacted coal. Thank you for the reminder, I truly appreciate all your help 🌹 Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
If you esnt to build sn object against terrain (like you were saying you wished you could build a light on an overhanging 'rock' section (it's actually some kind of organism; there are broken open versions in the canyons t the south of your power plant) You can place a foundation against it and then build the light from that foundation. It will take some trial and error (plus use of nudging) to get the position right
Yea, be creative with the fact that you could "hide" a foundation and attach lights that way! that will indeed take some trial and error to get that right but it's absolutely a good idee - thank you so much! 🌹 Sorry for the late reply, I am in the middle of bad storms which took power and internet out (all is still unstable) Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy You don't even have to hide the foundation. After you have added the light, you can delete the foundation (or the foundation and the wall, if using wall-mounted flood lights)
You are absolutely right: As long as you have one in the right place to attach a light (in my case), it can of course be deleted! Amazing, thank you 😄 Much love from grandma Wendy 💖

@ yes. But don’t delete too many… just any “glitchy” ones, and a few where you can safely speed up
