@drunkpolice I agree, but it's really effective when all the blue are synchronized to flash when the red don't. That way from a distance you see a light that changes from red to blue, instead of a flickering purple.
The yellow fire vehicles belong to the Clark County Fire Department, which serves unincorporated areas of Clark County, including most of the Las Vegas Strip. The red fire vehicles belong to the Las Vegas Fire Rescue Department which serves the rest of the city of Las Vegas. Private ambulance companies are also part of the 9-1-1 system in Las Vegas.
@DoTheShuffaloShake The same could be set for electronic sirens and martin horns. You can hear the electronics perfectly fine but they blast the horns for intersections. Throwing in the whole "make everything bigger" was an unnecessary jab.
@zootoo63 well ya but considering he was driving on the wrong side of the road at one point and that he was coming up to pedestrians you need a more attention getting siren so..
I'm not 100% sure, but we have White yellow and red trucks here. I've seen a few white that say paramedic, and yellow saying Fire & Rescue, but a bit of all just say Fire Department. Couldn't find a answer to that either.
@DoTheShuffaloShake I suppose I can see your point but I still disagree. Q's doe a fantastic job of clearing the road and from personal experience even dual speaker e-siren setups are insufficient to move some morons on the road. Of course there is plenty of abuse of Q sirens but as I have said prior when used correctly they are very useful.
awesome engine and lights!

Man, Red and Blue really does the job. More effective and brighter than red/red or blue/blue --
I love those people. Don't stop for a firetruck, just start running and hope you'll survive

@trainlova12 I think wail worked perfectly fine here..
Because that is the color of all Clark County Rigs.

@bg1379 All depends on the part of the country really.
That Truck Looks Great!!!!!

lol
those pedestrians just keep going
@DoTheShuffaloShake Nothing wrong with Qs, they have a place and purpose too. Not always appropriate but they help when used properly.
