Thomas The Tank Dark Side Knock Off Toys Ep13 Strange TOMY & Big RC Train

- Thomas The Tank toy trains that will shock you. Yet another TOMY clone Thomas The Tank train set that has an amazing looking bridge and tunnel. The Thomas is powered by aluminium instead of coal. When put up against my real TOMY super fast Thomas the dark side Thomas fails to impress. These train sets sell for between $30 to $40 and I notice the prices of these toys rising. It may seem like a good deal but as you will see these toys can become killer toys. There is also a look at a very large remote control Thomas The Tank that has detailing not seen on real Thomas toys. It all seems impressive until I start to put this Thomas through a hell ride. Sure accidents can happen and don't be surprised at the results after a train crash. I have been buying some new cameras. I test one that does 1000 fps but the capture time is a fleeting few seconds. Hopefully I have captured the moment thomas has a boiler explosion. We all knew that aluminium was a poor choice for fuel. Steam engines need coal!
In the end all these nasty knock off dark side toys and merchandise are a strong reminder to us of the excellent quality seen in the real licensed Thomas and Friends merchandise, it really is worth paying that little bit more to have toys which are designed and built to last.
In no way can I endorse these knock off products seen in this video, they are low quality and often have small parts which easily break away.

They are actually illegal knockoffs he is destroying. They are a harsh but good way to show kids and adults that the easiest way isn’t always the best way.

I love the videos of leokimvideo are so cool
The big fast Thomas is a rip off of a real TOMY toy. You have this Thomas in your collection (you looked at it in the episode 4 of Thomas Collecting). It was a TOMY R/C Thomas with Steam Functions and a Thomas Theme as he puffed along. Mind you it wasn't very fast at all. The whistles, the body and the wheels are a key indicator that the toy has been copied.

I love these darkside videos and the BTS film school shorts too. I'm glad I haven't run into any knock off Thomas junk yet here in the States, kinda makes me wonder what goes on in the land down under. I love to see you giving these junk toys the plastic explosives makeover, it really makes my day for a week.BTW, there is a TOMY bridge similar to that one in the knock off set. It's green and longer that that one but it was pretty close and I agree that that bridge was the only good part of that clone.

The box art from the first set takes me back to a simpler time when the show wasn't the mess it was today.

I am so disappointed with the Trackmaster. The knock off Trackmaster looks so much better than the mutilated Trackmaster II stuff.
If i were to get those green coaches, I'd turn them into an an and yin long and maybe make them less likely to fall apart during impact.

I recently got into Thomas because my twin sons love trains. Your videos are fantastic, and I am a big fan.
Regarding that feather, birds can get inside a warehouse and cause problems quite easily. The biggest issues birds pose are waste contamination in the product, and health risks for employees. The fact a FULL feather made it into that box indicates a high likelihood of some sad working conditions in that factory. I definitely recommend you clean knock offs with anti-bacterial wipes and wash your hands when you handle them.

Tbh, the second Thomas toy maybe a knock off but it's really good to almost be a licensed toy. The lights, the detail and the engine roll call. It could have been something with some modding
The Bridge is quite similar to the tomy one but the one that I think its trying to copy covered two rails instead of one but I think its quite a *decent* copy

I'm surprised the knock off didn't smash... wait now I just got to that part of the video hahah! That carriage had no hope after all those drops! Certainty a hazard. Ah yes Mr Bubbles, S13-16 was very stupid indeed!Weird that the RC one has track when it has that style of 'steering' control; usually that's reserved for ones with the little castor rolling wheels underneath. I actually prefer the styling of the knock-off to the Turbo Flip, but it is meant to be a little off proportionally so I can't fault the real mcoy for that. Oh yes, the 'everything is perfect' reviews... not a fan at all. Love the variety you use though, very interesting! I feel like the new one possibly has a microphone issue (hence the cloth on top?) No wait that's just to cover the brand name...That second explosion is so fast you can hardly see it!
+XtremeTrainz The episode I can't forget because it was so stupid was the story where Thomas had to deliver the special bubble mix to Mr bubbles and sure enough it's spilt along the way causing confusion and delay. The whole clown show was spooky and scary. Clowns are almost horror images these days. It was a horror episode.

That Turbo-flip Thomas looks alright, but I like how great the knockoff looks. Proportion-wise it's nearly dead-on, only the front footplate suffers a little, but I've seen that before in official merch, not surprised it's happening here.

Honestly, I bought that first set from a shop that was closing... I know. I let the Dark Side win, but, I just use it for old Tomy trains because I don't have any real Tomy track. The track's half-decent, so, it works for my purposes.
