You sell a crypto you’ve held for over a year, you get taxed 15-20% on the capital gains.
You sell a crypto youve held for under a year, you can get taxed up to 40% of the gains, depending on your income bracket

I hate that there is capital gains on Crypto.
It is like when buying 1 gallon of Gas for $5.00.
Then sell it for $6.00 for a capital gain of $1.00.
But gas still cost $6.00 if you have to buy it back for use in your car.
For example, I have Bitcoin and want to buy a car. I have to sale the Bitcoin pay any capital gains taxes, plus the cost of the car and sale taxes, etc.

First, regarding Tangem - it's obvious they're a sponsor of yours with instructions of how to set one up and use it in countless videos, but do you actually use it for any meaningful amount of crypto storage? The more I read about them the less great it appears since you have to use their app and their app isn't open source.

With regard to ALT coins, if I am putting $20 a month into ETH and XRP in addition to BTC as part of a DCA strategy, are you saying I shouldn't be doing that with ETH and XRP because they are alt coins?
I know nothing about XRP but as far as ETH goes I’m sure it’s an exception to the rule and can be a held. But keep in mind BTC is just the safer hold and there’s a chance ETH comes crashing down bc it has tough competition like Solana. Keep an eye on if ETH gets its ETFs approved. If it does it’s probably here to stay. Just my two cents.

I have a coinbase acct and was sending crypto into my coinbase wallet, tested it with a $1 then went to transfer the rest and they flagged my account and have locked it for 60 days? They said it was for my own security? The only way I can get my $ is to sell all my crypto and I do not want to do that? Any ideas why they did this and why?

Stop showing the Weekly money line indicator casey. That doesn't make any sense in this volatile market. By the time your weekly indicators turns bearish , most of the damages would already happens. Instead show us daily indicator or 4 hrs to get a better entry in the market. Don't be like IVON who doesn't want to show shorter frames coz he wants to sell his product.
Her channel seems to be geared investing and dollar cost averaging. If so, this means she should avoid smaller time frames as to not encourage trading because most lose money trading and using smaller time frames.
Making money in crypto is usually done with time in the market & not timing the market. Short term price action doesn't matter unless one is trading short time frames.
Typically, when in a bull market, you buy the dips... when the price starts dropping is when buying occurs... the more the price drops, the more of the reserved money is used to purchase. For example - every 10% the price drops, 10% of the saved cash is used to make a purchase. / if there is $100 saved, every time the crypto price drops 10% $10 is used to purchase more crypto.
@@ericwhittington91 Dude, i am not talking abour 10/15/20 mints smaller time frames. I was talking of 1 hr atleast and keep in mind, DCA can't be done with weekly timeframe. Weekly is on an average 4-6 months oulook. if u really want to do the SCA then you have look in to atleast 4hr or 1 day time frame. Keep in mind, DCA doesn't always mean buying...U should also think of selling at some point and for that , u have to refer smaller time frames of atleast 4hr and 1 day. weekly will rekt you completely . By the time your weekly indicator tells you to sell, your portfolio would already become half....🙂
