380s are slept on I got the calcites and onyx SOO COMFY most comfiest yeezy hands down a lil hard to put on but they look clean very nice workout shoes overall a clean shoe I think it didn’t catch on because they were overproduced and yeezy hype was dying down because of the dunks and 1s, 380s are sneaker of the year
@@xboxgamer30 yes I wear Adidas high ankle socks. I'm more on the heavier side so I have the slightest digging in around the tounge area. Thicker socks helped a lot
The 380 is the most comfy Yeezy on the market far as the softness of the boost iteration. The 700 is hands down the best Yeezy of em all especially after the break in period is over. Materials are better too in the sevens but many were dooped with this onyx color way cuz it’s not black one bit lol
The look of the 380 took some time to grow on me but I did pick them up. The comfort is greater than any other Yeezy model I own. And I totally agree about wearability and also appreciate that up close these have some purple and subtle color and pattern changes.
One of the reasons I love Yeezys is because Kanye decided to have the Boost cushioning primarily covered, keeping it clean. With NMDs, Ultraboost, etc they don’t age well because it gets so dirty. I’d really like to see a Yeezy with an all leather upper - something alongside the WINTER.RDY aesthetic that Adidas does on their in-line Ultraboost.
I fell in love with Ultra boost because of how comfortable they were on DAY ONE. As a RN, that meant the entire world to me. My feet NEVER hurt after my 12 hour shifts.... NEVER. Like you said, I would love more styles with the boost technology.
Yeezys actually don’t always sell out. If you win a footlocker reservation do not confirm unless you are going to pick it up bc you are taking away from someone else. My buddy at footlocker said that they aren’t allowed to sell unclaimed pairs bc adidas wants to make it look as if every Yeezy sells out. They actually return any unclaimed reservations back to adidas. That’s why I was pissed when they had like 18 pairs of bred 350s that weren’t picked up and he said he still couldn’t sell me my size. BS

I bought this shoe for retail when it released for that reason. Can go with pretty much anything and I wanted something that could beat ultraboost in terms of comfort, and even though they both use boost technology this is definitely the more comfy ride. For anyone that can snag these under retail I say do it. One tip: Go half size or size up. These run kinda small. I use 10-10.5 and I went 11 and they're a joy
Ive been a loyal Nike/Jordan fan for the last 30 years with the exception of a couple pairs of New Balance 998s and Onitsuka Tigers. These 380s were the first pair of yeezys I ever picked up a month ago. I am very impressed with the design, quality and performance.
It's true that these are criminally underrated and a great colorway. However, I don't agree that this is a really wearable shoe. You have to have a very tapered pant to make these look good with the tongue-lessand pulltab-less upper.
Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but 380’s are my faves out of the Yeezy line. They were so different when they came out, especially after the over-saturation of 350’s. I love the chunky heels, just as I do on the 700’s. I want all colorways of these bad boys, and it’s possible financially because it isn’t a hyped shoe. 10/10 on both accounts for me🤷🏽♂️to each their own of course

I'm a machinist and wear these 380s every night to work. Super comfortable, breathable and the pattern hides dirt so well they still look new.
