This gets me so excited! I didn't realize how new it was when I put my order in a few days ago, but I put it in my cart so fast when I went to the website to look at the Muppets palette, which I didn't end up purchasing because I saw the Aurora instead. I lean very cool, and finding cool-toned palettes is like going fishing for unicorns for me.
That's a hilariously accurate way of describing trying to find truly cool-toned palettes on the market. 😁 When I first saw this one I legit thought someone did a mock-up of their dream palette, it was that unthinkable that CP would come out with sg like this without throwing in a ton of warm neutrals lol.
I love colourpop because of how good it works with my skin and the price is A BIG FACTOR. I got the BT21 collection and I’m in love with it, so many colors and the lip oils are amazing. So I’m very excited for Aurora struck to come in!
this color story is SO me. whenever i play with color its green, blue or purple so this palette is perfect for me. mine should be delivered tuesday and i cannot wait to play!!
I love the colors of the palette and both looks you did. FYI, to avoid any makeup stick disturbing your foundation you can pick it up from the tube with a brush and dab on your skin instead of sweeping, or pick it with your fingertip and dab softly, instead of dragging sticks over your foundation. I have never had a pressed powder than doesn't produce some fallout when you're tapping your brush into in. You can tap more gently as you keep the palette/pan flat on a horizontal surface and then lightly tap your brush to eliminate the excess powder clinging to the very tips of the bristles, that's where the fallout is coming from, there's a product overload on the brush and building thin layers eliminates this problem and your makeup will look 10,000 x better. I do this exact thing with every eye shadow and I never get fallout even if I'm doing a smokey black eye 😍
This is such a pretty colour story... I've just recently begun playing with colourful makeup (bought the PMG celestial nirvana and am having SO much fun) so this palette speaks to my soul haha. I wonder if it will go on sale because i'd definitely buy it then.

BOTH of those eye looks are drop dead gorgeous! I probably shouldn’t have (because I would never dare to go that bold) but I just picked this up during the restock. You are truly an artist…I don’t think anyone else would be able to create two incredible looks like that,, and make it look so easy. Wow…

It's almost a perfect everyday ethereal palette, it just needed a little bit more umph (if you know what I mean). But it is very pretty and I love the pastel blues/purples you used on the 1st look 😍 Love yooooooooooo ☃️☃️💗☃️☃️

Have you tried applying the light sticks to a sponge or brush first and then on the face? I wonder if it would still disturb the foundation that way. They are very pretty, but I wouldn't want to buy them if they disturbed my base no matter the application method. Very nice review. I love the looks you did.
Has Colourpop ever done multi chrome shadows, I mean like JD Glow effect multichromes not the run of the mill ones? If not, I think they would kill it. I’d be all over a Colourpop multi chrome palette.

I have the pallet and I think it’s lacking the quality that some of the others has . It’s not as pigmented as I’d like , it’s pretty but it’s more muted on the skin than in the pallet . That being said …. This is the most beautiful color story they’ve Cooke out with in so long . I don’t wear warm tones . So this has been such a long time coming !

I don't know why, at first sight, this eyeshadow palette gives me the Huda beauty mercury retrograde vibes. I think I'll rather consider buying this aurora starstruck one, since this one has more range, are affordable (for me).

Question: which primer/ concealer do you use for your eyelids for colourpop eyeshadow palettes? I had used my California Love palette and had noticed that my eyeshadow lifted off my eyes within a few hours.
@@KpopInYourArea95 so what I have been doing is using the Milani: No Pore Zone mattifying face primer on my eyelids about the size of a pea on my eye lids then using the morphe: filter effect soft radiance concealer. You can get both of these products at ulta beauty. Hopefully this helps ☺️

Hi, so I have this pallet. And my colors do not look like your colors at all. Your greens are much lighter than migraines. Yours comes out more of an emerald green line comes off more of a not a pretty green. I don’t understand. Same thing with the SOLIT color. Yours is easy to work with minus flaky. Again I don’t understand. Did they give you guys the better pallets and those of us that bought it gave us pallets that weren’t produced right. I don’t get it. Something doesn’t make sense somewhere.

Green and purple are my favorite colors, I may have to pick this up even though I have yet to venture from brown, peach, and pinks

id warm it up on the back of my hand and then pick that up with my fingers, i think that’s the way to go especially in cooler months
