I remember watching this when i was getting ready for school, I was 10 then. That day, after I got home I searched the whole channel list for this cartoon even the following days too. Just 2 mins ago I didn't know the name of this cartoon. This turned up on my recommendations randomly, I'm glad it did. Nostalgia ☺️
Certainely the best animation movie ever made. No need for multilingual dialogs, just the music and the sound is enough to understand. My favorite part are when the ladybug makes fun of the flies and the fireants... the classic 'puuu pupu puu puuuuu' 😊 and of course the flies crashing on the 2CV car (la deudeuche) 😂 This goes to my "to watch when feeling depressed" movielist.😊
I had no idea this was on old movie. My son watches the miniscule cartoon and this popped up he's been lost in it for 20 minutes now. Thank you for uploading!

I was pleasantly surprised by the nostalgic feeling I got from watching this movie, even though it was my FIRST TIME seeing it. The movie had a peaceful and dreamlike quality to it, which I found really enjoyable. On top of that, there were some truly EPIC moments that I didn't see coming. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I'm glad I watched it.
Apparently this is the prologue of the series. So cute when the black leader has a mustache)) And the ladybug is not so at birth. And ants are so striking))) Not only their strength, but also the ability of the telegraph and ESPECIALLY their incredible such a LONG way from home. So many ants overcome; this is a huge world for us, but for them it is... I like the leader of the ants))) Apparently these green around the queen, little princesses. I think the redhead lied something to his queen.
I dont remember where I saw this first but I loved it so much I was excited when they made a 2nd film, which is only available on disc in the UK and it's PAL, but I can play it, and loved it even more than this one. I hope they make another.
i really enjoyed the visuals in this video; they were stunning and captured the essence of nature beautifully. however, i feel like the portrayal of ants as the main focus might overlook the fascinating complexities of their ecosystems. i mean, there's so much more happening in nature that sometimes gets overshadowed by just one species, don’t you think?
I don't understand how a man could take a very pregnant female on a picnic so far out into the forest. Of course, they had to leave suddenly which is why so much of their picnic was left behind for the forest critters to find. Otherwise, a lovely movie.
