- Before leaving Balgaon, I attended a local wedding, ate the local food 'Kaangri Dhaam" usually made in Himachali marriages... then made my way to Kareri village passing through the dense forest... got lost in the jungle as there was particular trail or route inside the jungle, all I knew was I had to keep going down the mountain. Because I got late... could'nt make it to Kareri lake, the same day. Stayed in a local homestay in Kareri Village. Next day on the way to Kareri I witnessed something unimaginable...

Exactly! That's what I was gonna say. The best part is that he is more interested in showing the place and nature. ..not himself. Most travel vloggers are more interested in showing how cool THEY are...not how cool the actual place is.

I have spent a night in that Shepard hut once few years back we couldn't reach the lake cause of snow. Can't forget that night. This trail is also black bear prone area.
