After ~5 years of watching and playing SC2 on and off, coming back to BW is just like "YEEESSS that's what I've been missing!" It's hard to explain what it is exactly though... What Artosis said is a very important point imho, even such an "easy" maneuver as retreating with a big army requires a clear plan and skill. After an attack, the defending player almost always has a chance to come back in BW, where in SC2 one big battle is often means victory for one or the other.
The UI was clunky shit, face it... ps. AND the HD remaster didnt make it a hint better! Not even waypoints from the HQ? fuck that! *ALSO* ... don't we miss something in 2018? ............. RESOURCE COUNT? UNIT COUNT? ... nothing! ... darn sloppy !
They are trying to merge both games and try to explain the game to new people/sc2 players. I agree that sometimes is a bit annoying for a vet, but its for the sake of the game

In Broodwar the battles are actual battles. SC2 the units stack so much and battles are just 2 waves hitting each other and one wave just wins...

@@FizzleFX spectator mode in remastered includes resources and supply lol, this isn't remastered. sc2 blows compared to brood war btw
