@ Obviouslty it's on the Bills to make plays, its on the refs to make calls. its on the nfl to make it as fair as possible with their billions of dollars. IT doesn't matter what coaching decisions the coaches make, it's still the refs job to call as fair of a game as possible. The nfl is totally failing at this.

The Bills failed on 2 separate 2 point conversions after scoring back to back touchdowns when they were down 21-10. They could have been up 24-10 instead of 22-10 had they just kicked the extra points. Chiefs wouldn’t have went for 2 when they scored 28-24. Bills TD makes it 31-28. So the chiefs last field goal would have been to tie instead of take the lead. Simple dumb coaching decisions. Taking the ball out of Cooks hands, and not realizing that the Chiefs were all over the Josh Allen sneaks. Bad coaching.

maybe the chiefs should start dominating games then. because without all these questionable calls and no calls that always happen to magically go the chiefs way, they wouldnt win nearly as many games as they have. especially holding on plays where mahomes takes off for 15 to 25 yards on a scramble where 2 to 4 chiefs lineman are holding, sometimes even just straight up tackling their guy. literally every other team in the NFL those big chunk plays, with blatant holding, get called back 80% to 95% of the time, but not the chiefs. for them its never holding unless its in a meaningless part of the game, where calling that play back wont matter, but if it is in a crucial part of the game, a part where the chiefs really needed that big play. there is a less than 5% chance that flag is thrown.

Idk why the media is so afraid of admitting that luck and officiating quality affects games. If you’ve ever played sports you know in order to win you have to be good, but you have to be lucky too. Every team has a game once in a while where the calls just don’t go your way. The problem is it’s been a LONG time since the chiefs had one of those games.

Yeah, I’m not usually a fan of Nick’s takes, but he’s right about this. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in McDermott’s shoes, facing seemingly insurmountable odds against the Chiefs, who are on the verge of a three-peat. But you can’t go into an environment thinking the playing field isn’t fair-although a minor thing-that mindset shifts your focus away from victory. You have to be dialed in, fully focused, and block out everything else, especially things out of your control.
