In this interview, N Ram, a veteran journalist and the Hindu group chairman, broke down the increase in price of each of the 36 aircraft India bought from France’s Dassault Aviation. That provides more fuel to the opposition that has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of causing a loss to the nation by pushing for an Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group company as a partner for the deal. The government has denied lobbying for Ambani.
N Ram told that his findings show that India negotiated poorly with Dassault Aviation, possibly because the Prime Minister had already announced the deal. The 1.3-billion euros charged by Dassault Aviation as “design and development” costs for enhancements to the planes that India specifically wanted worked out more expensive because the size of the order was reduced from 126 aircraft to 36, he said.

N Ram suspects there is some Huge Money Transfer/Bargain between Anil Ambani & Narendra Modi very personally; otherwise why Ambani's very new inexperienced company was recommended (without any input from anyone in Defense, Finance or anybody) by Modi to the French Company as the Indian Counterpart? HAL should have been the natural choice as they are the most experienced Indian company. Follow the Money transaction between Modi & Anil Ambani from 2014. I suspect that Anil paid hundreds of crores of rupees to Modi/BJP for the Election Expenses. And, this is the pay back for that money donated.... On the Rafaele deal when Supreme Court, the supplier and other parties have cleared it where is the scam? Where is the money trail? Anil Ambani is NOT the only off set partner- there are 20 or 30 more.Such an enterprise needs deep pockets and only big established businesses have it. Specialities can be brought on board by hiring the right people. You might have a different opinion which is okay with me. I have my own opinion which is my right as well. Time will tell.
