ND resident here. Burgum has been a great governor for the state. Really understands energy, business and agriculture and has great vision. That being said, I’d rather he was secretary of energy, we need to rebuild our energy sector and he can do it.

He is so right! I’m not a business person but I have enough sense to know if you put a successful businessman in charge of the government he’ll make it a success! That’s exactly why I voted for President Trump in 2016 and 2020! And as far as having a assertive and bold personality that’s not a bad thing! I was a charge nurse for many many years and I can tell you if I had not had a bold personality a lot of people would’ve died at the hands of good nurses but with poor skills and/or judgment at times. I had to demand that they get educated and that they perform their skills in a specific way in order to have the results we needed for the patients success! A successful business person understands that same necessity for assertiveness that I had and that it’s for the good of everyone in the long run!

"You cannot be serious!!".. The US national debt is over 35 trillion!! A good solution to reduce debt is using AI automation systems to cut government workforce spending in as much as (I guess) 40 % in many departments including education.
AI teachers can replace university teachers at universities reducing wages bills of universities, and reducing student fees by ( I guess) 80%, so students don't have a lot of debt when they finish degrees
Just cutting the gigantic salaries of the Chancelors and College presidents and other leaders in the university system would lower college expenses a lot.

Tim Scott moves his numbers up according to a couple polls. I just hope that these guys wanting to be VP are not upset about his choice. I generally do not vote bc I just believed the system was rigged. Felt like a waste of my time bc nothing ever gets better regardless of who we vote for. I still believe that but this election is so important and I feel like I have to do something. I wasn’t even registered to vote. Just registered today and switched from Democrat (registered in my birth state 16 years ago) to now registered Republican in Florida.
I watched Bergum speak and I just don’t like him. JD Vance is eloquent speaker, has a really good life story that is poor folk can relate to and he’s handsome
