How do they make money ? The people who we pay cash to give us tickets in booth didnt give us receipt. I was wondering if they pocket a little cash to themselves would anyone notice? I feel bad for the people at the rides who let people on rides boring and leaving family behind and they dont not make much $$
Rides in America are so different to the rides in the UK and Europe there more old school looking it's like looking at a fairground from back in the 70's
I see they've got a Zipper. It's almost compulsory for US fairgrounds to have one of these. The same as in the UK it's compulsory to have a Waltzer (American equivalent of the waltzer is a Tilt -a - Whirl).
Yes, most of the new rides are designed to fold open the major parts from a semi trailer frame. Older rides like the Tilt-a-Whirl are all separate pieces, very heavy, and lots of labor to setup and tear down 🤪
I want to purchase a Tilt-A-Whirl ride how much does it cost? does the ride generate a good profit- monthly? is it high maintenance to own? how much is it to hire people to set it up at carnivals all the time? does it require costly insurance in case someone gets injured or hurt on the ride? where can I store it when not in use? thkx..🎈🎪
Watch how quickly crews take down the rides and midway just five days later 📹 th-cam.com/video/2090XFNP9Eg/w-d-xo.html
Boy i miss setting up the rides. So much fun. Did it for 20+years
We sure appreciate the days of hard work and planning to set up the midway area, it shows in this video!
If you're asking about the Skymaster, that ride is trailer mounted.

As a brit I can say the average fair ride over here is covered in decals of Disney characters, I highly doubt any of them got permission to use them.
awesome 👏👏🤠🤠👀👀
Thank you! We're working on more videos this Summer!
When do you guys usually set up?
Carnival Rides are set up a few days prior to the event. Check back late August, we are planning to capture a 2023 version with more angles this year!
Is the layout for the attractions planned in advance or is it eyeballed?
Planned in advance, always different each year, and designed to feature popular rides 👍
@@dcfairwi It's really neat. I love stuff like this
We'll have more videos after our event on the third week of August

When I was a young boy, I never knew how they would set them up, but if I'm correct, do they unfold?
