Thanks for your nice video! People were complaining about the “unnecessary cushion” around the ankle in version 1. Nike listened probably and created a minimal ankle which created heel slippage for a lot of people.
Agreed. Watch them bring it back for version 4!

I ended up asking for a refund on these and bought a pair of their Invisible 2 instead.
the thing is, the runner knot is also called the heel lock and made to avoid front foot blister and heel slipage....sooo yea it was called.

Yikes. Those are nasty blisters. This will be a version 4 on this design for sure. Fixing these "new" problems they created.

Yep have 2 pairs of V2 ill skip V3. V3 for some reason did not catch my eye, don’t like how they look. The V2 in black looks great.

I bought this to replace my version 2. I had to immediately return it. There is something wrong with the way it fits the heel. It did not lock the heel properly - even with a runners knot.
I don't have it and don't plan to buy the Nike Invincible 3, but you need to try some running socks from Nike. There is one called something "Grip" in the name that will totally change your feelings when running with any shoe. Using these socks and running with my Boston 11 makes the feelings so much better, and I get zero heel slippage. Many complaints about Nike ... but their high-end running socks are worth every penny ! It is hard to put then on, but boy, you will go do your run in Heaven mode !

I got three pairs of that Nike Grip (,too bad all are in the same color), and I reserve them when I want to run as fast as I can possibly can. Like I said in the original post,...any of running shoes will feel like they are a part of your feet with these socks. The runs will become so much pleasurable.
Which is better, the thin or the cushioned? I know there’s two types!
@@patitoduck123 don't know . But if the socks says :"Grip" is is the one to make your feet like "glue" inside the shoe for a perfectly fit and not allowing any slide inside that will leep the running performance high and will preserve the upper of the shoes as well.
@@MiracleWarriors they have a thin and cushioned grip variant.. just wanted to see which you prefer or which one you have! Learning towards thin
For me the V 3 seems like a disappointment. I love the V 1 and 2 and will not buy the V 3. Luckily I have a handfull versions of V1 and 2. Nike have fucked up a good shoe. Regrettable.

Just finished running in these for the first time and got blisters in the same place….. I really wanted to like these since I loved the 1’s but what they did that change so drastically to cause blisters
It’s the midfoot cage bro, it’s too compressive and also wire like feeling

I have that exact same issues you have with the blisters in that very spot on both feet. Such a shame, I didn't try versions 1 & 2 and was really looking forward to this one but it just didn't work for me even though it felt really nice underfoot. No choice but to return them after 2 runs.
Sorry to hear that bro. It was kinda horrible as I knew it was happening and it was getting worse on the run. Best to keep the version 2s

I initially bought version 1 intending to use it as a long run shoe. It was useless for that purpose. I got blisters in the same places you've described when I attempted anything above 10 miles in them. They kinda got demoted to a once a week short run recovery shoe and worked pretty well that way. I bought V2 at half price last November but where they felt exactly the same as V1 didnt try to use them for any kind of distance. Invincibles arent versatile shoe by any stretch of the imagination but they are ridiculously soft and forgiving on easy day short runs.
That’s a real shame! If you didn’t like 1 or 2, you might like these but probably not
😢 good review as usual. I sent two V2 pairs back to Nike that I stocked up on before Xmas due to injury and not knowing when and if I’d be able to run again, sounds like I need to get them back

Nike has recently followed a pattern of getting cheaper and crappier with each new version they put out of whatever model you like. If you find a good one, buy a few pairs before they screw it up
Hence the bulk buy of previous versions. It’s not been great

Its so stiff and didn't feel good on the long run
In the video it looks like you have not used the runner loop knot. Instead of tightening so much, if you used the knot, you would probably would have solved the slip issue and have a more comfortable ride.
Have you ever run in Infinity Run OG? This upper actually looks like Infinity Run OG except that Invincible Run 3 has additional holes for runner's knot (Infinity Run OG had booty style tongue). Infinity Run OG also had a very minimalistic heel cup which caused some slip for some, but it was OK for me. I still have that shoe for walking. So comfortable! Invincible Run 3 might actually work for me, I have to go to store and try. Version 1/2 bounce was too wild for me lacking direction. I might buy v3 but I am definitely not going to be paying full price.
The runners knot makes it feel too tight for me, like it cinches it down too much
@@AmritpalGhatora On a shoe with paper thin thong or a very short one, that is likely to happen but this one has a pretty substantial one tongue with a lot of padding. I would give it a try.
Another one who got the blisters in the exact same spots.. My feet are battered after 20km.. Might be time to return them :( Never had this issue with my Peg 39's
Edit - side note.. how can I treat my blisters so I can get a comfortable run in now?
The Invincible 3 is a nice addition to the Vaporfly 3 for rotation. Nice cushion, nice spring, and allows great comfort for long runs.

Great review, this made me decide not to buy them. I tried them at a store and noticed the stiffness and hard edges, some weird design decisions there!

I’m sure the runners knot will be all fine, just depends on the mid foot
I tried the runners knot and it still didn’t help me. I ended up sending them back today.

The 3’s are straight trash I’m very happy with my invincible 2’s maybe Nike will get it right on the next version

Hahaha Vomero 16 have been decent, actually quite enjoyable but the 15 version was terrible so it’s very hit and miss!

Hey Ian, super shoes aside the line-up is really mish mash right now. Some are good, some are bad, just a real inconsistent nature right now. I wanted to like the shoe being a big fan but just couldn't get over how my feet feel!

It's a bad shoe. Very sloppy. I had heel slip and achilles rub. People are going to get injured using these.

I actually liked the way these look, but there are so many reviews that talk about the heel slippage, I'm not sure what was Nike's priority while designing these. I'd faced the same issue with Pegasus 36 / Vomero 14, though never faced this on any of the other / newer models. Seems Nike has reintroduced this issue. Also, that instep rubbing issue looks nasty! Combine these issues with the steep price, I''ll stay away from these. Thanks for the honest review!
You’re welcome Rohit. For the price it’s followed too many issues and if your unsure stick to a previous version that may work better.
Weight didn't change...all 3 versions are almost identical in this aspect

I got the colorway black ordered from app, but I returned it coz materials feels cheap. I like the primeknit of ultraboost better than this, this feels shiny plasticky thin upper and I honestly thought I got a fake pair. I just did not get the premium feel on this one in person. My 2015 UB feels more premium. Makes squeaky noises as you walk as well. A shame since I got this because of high praise by youtube reviewers maybe they are paid by Nike.
I found the same, the top in the navy colour was very shiny and look plastic as well.

I have Infinity Run OG and I personally liked it more than Invincible Run 1/2 due to stability and less crazy bounce. I didn't like the upper updates to Infinity Run 2/3. I am hopeful for Invincible Run 3. There were some effected by heel slip on Infinity Run OG but not me. So, Invincible Run 3 might be the one for me. It seems to be the cross between Infinity Run OG and Invincible Run 1/2.
