I have a seat Leon fr 2017 facelift with xenon headlights. The driver side smashed so I got another one from a seat Leon cupra 2017. But the new doesn’t come on ? I have used the existing ballast .. ? Any ideas anyone please . Will appreciate it
Sometimes it can be the ballest that can be changed. We tried that but it still didn't work, so if that doesn't work then yes you need complete headlight

Does it matter if the middle screw on the top of the light isn’t screwed in? Bought a light and that bit was broke
And do you know if a 2019 light will work on a 2013

See if you can plastic weld a bracket on it, should help support it, if its the same Led type it should but id double check
The back of the light…. Would you have to change back bumper AND the back lights or just fit in the new back led light and code it????

Remove the ballast, its wet thats your problem, if its dry cheaper option is change that first and then go from there

thanks bro, ive not changed a lense il be honest, usually they heat them up to break the seal and then it should come off

Try the ballast first, if that does not work then its the whole led light im afraid, no bulbs in led lights

I have the same issue on my leon.. How did you manage to get it working? Nothing is coming on the headlight.
First change the controller under the headlight, cheaper option. If that doesn't work then you need a complete headlight replacement I'm afraid

You would need to check if your car is compatible for the led upgrade, same plug and some cars need coding in.

Looks like you need to see an auto electrician, the light may need coding if it's from a different model
You know how to install them on a non LED car that doesn’t came with them originally?
You will need different adapters for the led headlights to work I presume and coding into your car

Yh, cheaper option is to try change the board at the back, that screws off. If that don't so it then its the full headlight replacement.
