The test is done for: - To diagnose gout - To monitor the levels of uric acid in patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy - To assess the risks involved due to recurring kidney stones.

عندي سؤال يا دكتور لو سمحت
الآن نحن عندما نعمل فحص ال URIC ACID نعمل ثلاثة أنابيب الذي هم Blank, standard and test
هل نأخذ معهم البلازما أو السيرم في هذا الفحص ؟

يفضل السيرم. ولكن أيضا البلازما تستخدم في حالة عدم وجود سيرم
