It always surprises me that people aren’t totally grateful for all these marvellous free videos. It’s sad that you experience negative feedback when you’re offering gold!
Aww, thank you! I am sometimes quite shocked with what people comment. I used to leave them all up, but now, I sometimes delete the nasty or negative comments. I guess I don't understand the need to say something negative, instead of just moving to another channel.
I am enjoying this video very much. Thank you for putting it up for us to see. I do enjoy watching and making my own scrap/crumb panels. I think people post negative comments because with the arrival of social media they begin to believe their opinion matters most of all. Instead they are just rude. Again thank youn for posting this great video.
Hi Vicki! I apologize that I didn't reply to your comment, but I just noticed it today. It was turned under someone else's comment, so I don't get a notification for it. I happened to be here looking for something and saw what you wrote . Anyway... I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video and I agree with what you wrote about people using social media... they're brave behind the keyboard 🙄
Appreciate what your showing us thank you , those that it doesn’t suite , then simply don’t watch it. Please don’t grumble about it , as their are others that may be enjoying it , or finding it helpful. Those also thinking it’s wrong do a channel yourself and keep it going , you may have new ideas . Thank you for today , I enjoyed it.
My grandmother made scrap quilts. She sat on a slipper rocker by the oil furnace and piece the top in winter. In summer her quilting frame was set up in her bedroom. The shades down, window open. She’d sit in front of it and quilt in the darkened, cool room. I consider it a great blessing she lived next door to me. She didn’t talk much to anybody so I didn’t talk to her. One day she took a break from piecing, took down her top knot and combed her long white hair with the same combs she used to keep it up with. I was sitting on the floor watching. Uncharacteristically, she stopped, turned and looked right at me and said, “Long hair is a woman’s glory.”
That’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing that with me!!! l watched my great-grandmother piece crazy quilts at ages 6-7 by sitting next to (and at her feet) while she pedaled her treadle sewing machine. Your memory is so special, thank you!
This scrappy bag is beautiful. If I hadn't watched the video I would have thought that it was ready made fabric and that is because you iron at every stage and open up the seams of the scraps you've sawn together. Well done and thank you. God bless
Thanks! Yes, I’d gone over a lot of techniques in my 5 part Freestyle Scrap Tote Bag series and so I used this video as less of a tutorial and more for people who wanted to see how I get crumbs put together, start to finish. It’s my #1 question (how to sew crumbs together), so I figured this video would be helpful to those people (my Mom is one of them). I hope you give it a try! Of course as I’m sure you know, you can turn the crumb fabric into anything from a bag, to potholders, to a pillow. Have fun!
I am 94 and have made a lot of scrappies and stillenjoy looking at your program..I have a lot of scraps to do right now but I get tiredreal easy.My daughter does most all the machine quilting.Iplan a large sale this fall but hope I can make more scrappies.😊
Hi Juanita! 94 and still sewing, that’s fantastic! My mom just turned 91 and like you, she still sews. I’m glad to hear you love scraps, too! I think they’re fun to sew with, but I also don’t like to throw anything away that is useful. Happy sewing! 🧵
God bless you. I am 80, and although I sewed quite a bit, even supported myself with my sewing for two years, I haven't touched a machine in ages. But now I'd really like to try a scappy quilt because it looks like fun, but I don't have scraps, lol. My second choice is a Jacob's Ladder but for that I'll buy new cotton. Looking forward to a busy winter as I have four great-grandchildren to make quilts for, and I've never tried quilting before. LOL and I thought there would be no more "firsts" for me at this age. :)
Thank You ❤️ When I filmed this, I held onto it without releasing it at first, because I wasn't sure if it would be interesting. I live for this sort of sewing! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! 🛢❤️🪡
Love this idea. My daughter in law was born on July 4th...I can see what her birthday present next year will be...busy going through scraps for red/white/blue...thanks for sharing your talents with us. Love your commentary as always...
Hi Janet! Well there, my friend was a 4th of July born person, too! I think that your daughter-in-law would be very happy with one of these. I'm sure it will be filled with all your love. Thank you so much for your comment, and happy sewing!
Thank you so much! I am so happy love my crazy OCD way of sewing, ha ha. Thank you so much for watching and letting me know that you enjoyed the video, Charolett!
Love, love, love the bag! I haven’t made any bags but have several bag patterns and the fabric to make them! I need to get busy making some bags. What a thoughtful friend you are💕
I love your scrappy bag Marie. I don't sew much, so giving us your stitch length is extremely handy. I don't have a sewing machine that has a digital screen, but it gives me a rough guide for my stitch length. I find it very relaxing to watch you sew while I do my craft work (crocheting or knitting) 👍
Oh thank you! I know you’re very busy with your knitting, and that is so great that you find time to delve into the other crafts, as well. Thank you so much for everything!
Just what you said not to do. I already know how to sew crumbs. Crumbs is my favorite thing to sew. But I just love watching you sew your crumbs!!!!!! And I get a very long video of watching you sew your crumbs!!!!!!! What more can I ask for????? I love it!!!!! And your sewing room is so neat and organized.
Lol, your comment made me chuckle! I’m happy I could keep you entertained! 🥰😜. I have watched many videos of crumb sewing, and it’s very addictive to watch, even if I’m not sewing myself, so I know exactly what you mean. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for such a detailed narration and no music. i enjoyed the entire experience. New tip i learned was to sew the lining and the exterior box ends so the lining does not come "dislodged" when using the bag. Brilliant !!! I could watch you sew for hours. Very enjoyable and it has definitely inspired me to do this bag.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, when I learned that bag/lining technique, it changed my bag making! I’m not sure if you’ve seen any other of my bag videos (there are quite a few), but just in case you haven’t, here is a playlist (it’s easier to give you the list, lol). I have a 5-part series on the bag I showed in this video and you’ll find it in the playlist. th-cam.com/play/PLSSOqydkgPl5OjY4sbobPtcWlXIs5snMo.html&si=1TWJ_ceM-KLd4s1g
You popped up and I am so glad. I enjoyed your video and instructions. I would have obsessed about cutting the fabric to size before sewing. I loved your methos. I just want to sew at 8x the speed also lol. I hope your friend loves the bag as much as I do.
Glad it was helpful! I’m glad my video popped up for you and that you enjoyed this video. Thank you very much for watching him for letting me know that you found it helpful. I found it back in July when I was working on this for my friend and I hesitated, dropping it since I have never really made a video similar to this, and I wasn’t sure how well received it would be, since I spent so much time on just the piecing. Judging by the feedback I’ve received, I’d say that it was well received, and I’m happy that you found it helpful. My friend absolutely loves her bag! Normally, I use all kinds of shapes in my crumb piecing, but since she’s blind, I wanted her to be able to easily feel and distinguish between the shapes easily, so I kept it with rectangles and squarish shapes.
So glad I found your channel when Brenda sent us over a couple months ago. I have been enjoying your videos. Yes I have crumb been quilting for about 4 years. Your comment about relaxing you is right on. It is great to see how others do projects so when I can’t sleep at night I turn down the volume and binge. I started with Darlene Michaud. The first thing I learned was the only thing you need to do is have a straight edge. WELLLL from there I evolved I don’t pin with the crumbs as I have my magnet for my seam, but I do press and trim I do sew my triangles together to make a square if they are in my stack. I have learned that pressing open my seams on the blocks with really small pieces reduces the bulk. Finally hit the subscribe button always the like button. Thanks for the refresher. One thing I learned was seeing the corners of the bag and lining together. I have always just tacked the bottom. I like this much better. One tip I leave a handful of pieces big and small to fill in when near the end so I can add to if a little short rather than trimming off to make my blocks. I also try to have only bigger outside edge when almost done for trimming so the seams don’t come to close to the edge after trimming as less of a chance to pull apart after washing .
Hi Connie, and thank you so much for your wonderful comment! To be honest, most times, I don’t pin my crumbs, but since I was filming it to put up on TH-cam , I thought I should maybe do it. Although sometimes if I want them just right , or just in a certain way, I tend to pin them, but usually not as much as I did during this video, ha ha. I agree wholeheartedly that pressing my seams open allows for less bulk. I’m so glad you subscribed and I really appreciate you taking the time to write to me. Thank you and have a wonderful week!
Hi there Marie, I’m so glad that i found you. Thank you so much for your video. Now i want to get all my scraps together. I just love your tote bag. I just loved watching you. I’m watching you from South Africa 🌻
Marie, thanks for this video. I am not going to make a bag with my scraps, but I do my scraps just like you do in this video, long stripes and add to it. VERY SCRAPPY lapghan size quilts I make.
You are so welcome! I am always happy to hear from another person who loves to sew crumbs together. They are so fun, aren’t they? Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment, I appreciate that!
I’m back again!!!! I know I don’t need to know how to sew crumbs. But I’m here just to watch you sew crumbs, I am here to see how your technique is different from mine. I’m not here to critique but just to have a sewing friend. I like your really long crumb videos while I’m sewing. The quilt of valor would be for myself.
I’m so glad that you like this. I hesitated before dropping this video on TH-cam because at first, I thought it was a bit long. I have had a lot of positive, but also negative, feedback. Some people love the in-depth look, while others said I spent too long showing the same thing. To me, I find it to be a fun way to spend my time, ha ha. Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to leave me a comment. Happy sewing!
Welcome back! I know you get busy, and I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Hopefully you’ll get some time to sew in amongst work and everything else. Take care and have a wonderful week!
I LOVE THE BAG. I Have been wanting to make a bag with a combo of crumbs and denim. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. Thank you for filming. I do love all the pockets in the bag, and the D ring. such a great idea.
Hi Sharon! I’m so glad that you love this bag! I made a series of 5 videos showing all the different modifications that a person could make on my basic tote bag. They were named “Freestyle scrappy tote bag”. I think altogether my channel I have seven tote bag tutorials in total (other than the one that you’re commenting on). Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! 🥰✂️🧵
Thanks so much 😊. I’m glad you like this bag, and she ended up loving it! I had already done a five part tote bag series, so I was a little bit hesitant to drop this video. So what I did was I just waited from when I first filmed it in July and then dropped it in September. Have a great rest of your weekend and happy sewing!
Hello Marie . I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I have been binge watching since then. You are such a lovely lady. I am enjoying your tutorials . I have been quilting for 46 years . I have all kinds of scraps. I'm having so much fun sorting and learning to do a crumb LOL. Take care Mary Suzanne from British Columbia Canada
Thank you so much for subscribing! Thank you so much for introducing yourself and for commenting to me. I really appreciate it. I’m glad I was able to spark interest with your scraps. Have a great rest of your weekend and happy sewing!
Thank you for you thoughts on how you feel ,like. Y self you see these finished items , but not aware how is the best way to do it, so thank you I am very grateful it has helped me understand a lot..
Thank you Marie for sharing. I wish i had found your channel BEFORE I tried to make a junk journal quilted cover. It’s very awful. I will redo it after watching this. ❤️
You are so welcome! I'm glad you found the video helpful. Some people said it was too long, while others found it just right. Either way around it, I tried to be as thorough as I could be, especially thinking of beginners. I've been interested in making a junk journal for quite some time, but I haven't even attempted it yet... Good for you for trying, and I'm glad that this video helped piece your fabrics!
That would be wonderful, it sounds like it would be a pretty bag! If you're interested, I have a 5-part bag video series available, called the Freestyle Scrap Tote Bag series.
Wonderful, June! I bet your quilts are gorgeous! I love using up scraps, you just never know what design you’re going to end up with, but they’re always beautiful. Take care and have a wonderful week!
Yay! Thank you! I’m glad I inspired you… these are soooooo fun to sew! I’m not sure if you know, but I have a 5-part “Freestyle Scrappy Tote Bag” series, if you’re interested. Here is the link to part one: th-cam.com/video/kIicOVO48cM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ldrXf_Z47KvNqWBb
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The blade savers are wonderful, I bet you’ll love yours! One of my wonderful subscribers gifted that to me when my channel was brand new. I use it every day!
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed the video. Have a great rest of your weekend happy sewing!
Thanks for watching! I’m glad I was able to keep you entertained for an hour and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment after watching. I love sewing crumbs!
Thank you Mary, she really does! She is blind, so although she can’t see the colors, I’ve explained it to her what it looks like. I quilted it very close so that she could feel all the texture. She gets frequent compliments, so it’s a safe bet she’s pleased, which makes me happy!
You’re welcome 😊 I hope you give a tote bag a try! If you're interested, I have a 5 part bag series called the Freestyle Scrap Tote Bag series. Happy sewing!
Loved this Marie, so amazing. Thank you so much. I've just subscribed - even if I only watch your magic - I'm a very inept sewerHave I just written "sewer"??? Should I say "stitcher?" Maybe not. I can't sew
Thank you so much Marie, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this amazing and beautiful bag. Your friend is going to love ❤️ it. I really really love ❤️ it too. It’s absolutely and utterly stunning. I also iron everything as I go it’s really something that make’s the finished piece look so very very well put together too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much and I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video! I made the video back in July, just before I gifted it to my friend for her birthday. She’s blind, so she can’t actually see it, but she does love it, nonetheless. I think ironing and pinning makes a world of difference in the way a finished project looks. I know there are a lot of people who don’t do either and they just seem to slap things together, but it really makes me wonder about their items. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, and I appreciate that you took the time to write to me. Take care and happy sewing!
Marie, I really enjoyed your Sew ‘N Gab video! It was so enjoyable and calming on this early morning while waiting for the sun to peek thru so I can walk my 🐩. The bag turned out glorious! What a wonderful gift for your friend. 💞 Thanks for the tip on using safety pins for holding the straps straight. I’ve struggled with using WonderTape before. Sew with Joy!
Hi Lynn, it’s always great to see you! I hope you enjoy the walk with your dog. I’m glad you like the video, I’ve been holding onto it since July, because I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to drop it, or not. But judging by the feedback, I guess I didn’t have anything to worry about. I’m glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful l. Thank you so much!
Marie, loved this video! Learned a couple of new things too. Like the idea of serpentine stitch in middle of straps, going to do that on future bags. I don’t quilt as close as you do though, my preference is to quilt enough to keep things together and still have a pleasing pleasing affect. As you often say, “It’s your bag, do what you want”, do love your quilting though. It was not at all boring and I was able to do some hand sewing of my binding to the back of my latest finished quilt. Thank you so much for sharing all your informative tutorials.
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Yes, we all have what we like about each way of doing things. I’m glad you were able to pick up a few things, that’s what I do, too. I take what I like from others and store the rest away, ha ha. The past six or eight bags I’ve made, I’ve been quilting close like that, but I don’t always. Since the friend I made this bag for is blind, I tried to get as much texture as I could into the bag.
Thank you so much for these videos. I have been sewing for many years, but mostly clothing. I am having so much fun sewing different creations now and you are an inspiration and your videos are very informative.
Aww, you’re so sweet to say that! I’m so glad I could help you out. When people ask me if I sew shirts and other clothing, I always tell them that it’s two completely different things to sew what I do, versus clothes. I’m glad that you stepped into the next realm of sewing, ha ha.
I was totally mesmerized by your video, Marie! I have only made simple patch quilts in the past, and I consider your work way “over the top!” Thank you so much 😊
Marie, your voice is calming and you give great tips as you chat and sew. I appreciate your pinning, stitching and pressing methods. I've tried the basting spray and once cured me. I ended up with spray on my surface and it was a sticky mess. I've seen others doing it and I'm amazed that no one has my issues of stray spray. Thanks for not using music! I just found you so I have plenty to watch.
Hi Alice! You’re very welcome on the n”not using music” part… That drives me crazy on so many videos. Sometimes I really want to watch them, but I just can’t get past it. Anyway, thank you so much for watching and then for taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed the video. I am old-school as far as pinning and pressing go, ha ha. Sometimes I don’t pin as much as what I showed in this video, but since I was filming it, I wanted to make a good example. I truly feel that pinning and pressing are an important part of sewing. A lot of people just throw these things together and I can’t imagine how they do it without pins to put things in place and a good crease with an iron. I know exactly what you mean about the spray baste and I used to lay out newspaper across my sewing area, and then placed my pieces down to use the basting spray. I’ve gotten to the point now where I can keep it mostly on the project and not on my table. When I first started using it without the newspaper, I would keep rubbing alcohol near my table, and I would put that on a paper towel and wipe off the sticky stuff. I understand what you mean, though, it can make a terrible mess!
This was a great video this morning. My process of sewing crumbs is very similar to yours. I also love to give them a good press. I find it makes for a much neater finish. You use more pins than I do, and that’s probably why I get a little off kilter at times! And don’t we all wish we could speed up that fast sometimes?! Your finished bag was truly delightful!
Thank you, Nancy! As I had just told another commentor, I normally don’t use that many pins when it’s just me, but since I was filming for TH-cam, I thought maybe I should set a good example, ha ha. I’m really laughing about that, since that’s about the only time that I set a good example… when I’m filming, lol. I agree, that ironing makes a world a difference. I have seen many videos where the TH-camr doesn’t press and it drives me crazy. But then again, I’m always saying everyone should do their own thing. But that’s of course, not counting my OCD, L O L!
I’m so happy to hear! You, and others, enjoyed this and it’s a video that I had held onto without releasing for a while because I thought maybe it wouldn’t generate much interest. The opposite has been true, though. I’m happy that s many of my subscribers have found it helpful. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
You’re right may of us didn’t need a tutorial to make this bag but I watched it and loved the bag and you make your bags pretty much like I make mine. Great job!
Yes, if only we could also at eight times speed, ha ha! We certainly would get a lot done in a weeks time, wouldn’t we? Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Thank you so much! I guess by me saying it wasn’t so much a tutorial, I kind of meant I wasn’t giving much direction or any measurements. But like I had said to a friend of mine, anyone with any sewing experience would be able to follow it as a tutorial if they wanted to.
Glad it was helpful! I always pick up tips and tricks, no matter where I am, or what someone happens to be making. As my mother always says, there’s always more out there to learn. I’m glad you were able to pick up a few things and that you enjoyed the video. Thanks for letting me know and happy, scrappy sewing!

My groceries came in the middle of this video and I had to stop and watch it over again so here I am
Oh, no, you got interrupted, ha ha! Well, thank you for coming back and watching again, I appreciate your dedication! 🥰😁
Yea for scrappiness! Your vids always lead us in the right direction, fearlessly! 😉
Glad to hear it! I, your fearless leader (or was that your “full of fluff” leader), shall walk you through the halls of scrappiness!
What a beautiful bag made with scraps!
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Hi there Marie, I’m so glad that i found you. Thank you so much for your video. Now i want to get all my scraps together. I just love your tote bag. I just loved watching you. I’m watching you from South Africa 🌻
Hello to you in South Africa, and thanks for letting me know that you found my content helpful 😀 I hope you gave a lot of fun with your scraps!!
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous 🥰
Thanks ❤️
I know how to sew but I love all your videos shorter or longer I just love watching them 👍🏻👍🏻🤗
Glad you liked it! You are so sweet and I appreciate you being so supportive of me and my little corner of TH-cam!
Beautiful bag!!!
Thank you! 😊
Love it. Thank you
You are so welcome! Sewing crumbs together is so relaxing for me. Happy sewing 🧵
Finally getting a chance to catch up on some of your past videos♥️😊♥️
Welcome back! I know you get busy, and I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Hopefully you’ll get some time to sew in amongst work and everything else. Take care and have a wonderful week!
It looks like the ironing makes things neater along the way.... I like to do that too.
I think ironing makes a huge difference in the outcome of our projects. If it doesn’t, it still makes me feel better, ha ha!
thanks for showing us the whole process.
You’re very welcome! Thank you so much for watching, and taking the time to comment to me, that means a lot. Happy Monday!
Really nice job on the bag.
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful such perfection
Thank you! 😊. I appreciate your comment! I’m glad you enjoyed my video and took the time to write. Happy sewing 🧵🪡
The bag is beautiful and i enjoyed watching you make it.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you watched the process and enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to let me know. Have a wonderful week!
Love your creation bag for your friend beautiful!!!!

Thank you for you thoughts on how you feel ,like. Y self you see these finished items , but not aware how is the best way to do it, so thank you I am very grateful it has helped me understand a lot..
Beautiful bag! I enjoyed watching the whole video this morning in one sitting. Have a great day!
Thank you so much, Terrie! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Have a wonderful week and take care!
I appreciate your thoroughness ❤️ it helped me to create a better cover this time. I love it!
Love that,so pretty.I'm thinking of doing one in black and white with a touch of red..Thanks for sharing.
That would be wonderful, it sounds like it would be a pretty bag! If you're interested, I have a 5-part bag video series available, called the Freestyle Scrap Tote Bag series.
This awesome to see you making your panel's . This is how i make my scrap quilts 😊
Wonderful, June! I bet your quilts are gorgeous! I love using up scraps, you just never know what design you’re going to end up with, but they’re always beautiful. Take care and have a wonderful week!
Belíssima peça; parabéns!!!
Thank you so much!
Loved watching you do the scrappy bag. I’m inspired.
Yay!
This was very helpful. TY❗
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your feedback! 🥰
Beautiful bag❤❤😊
Thank you! 😊. I had a lot of fun, making it for my best friend, who is blind. She loves her bag!
Thank you, Marie. This was perfect. I’m a visual learner and this was very helpful!!
Glad it was helpful! I’m a visual learner, also!
Great video, I am going to order me that blade saver
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The blade savers are wonderful, I bet you’ll love yours! One of my wonderful subscribers gifted that to me when my channel was brand new. I use it every day!
Really nice .
That's nice, Marie, I really enjoyed watching you sew. I love making those tote bags.
Love the bag. Thanks for filming it.

Beautifully made bag 🇺🇲. Lots of features on it. Thanks for the video 😊
Thank you so much 😊. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate you letting me know. I hope you have a wonderful week and happy sewing!
I’m sure your friend loves her bag.
Thanks, Mary - she loves it!!!!❤
Thank you Mary, she really does! She is blind, so although she can’t see the colors, I’ve explained it to her what it looks like. I quilted it very close so that she could feel all the texture. She gets frequent compliments, so it’s a safe bet she’s pleased, which makes me happy!
Parabéns pelo empenho e capricho com os retalhos. Belo projeto. Gratidão por compartilhar conosco. ❤ Abraços do Brasil 😊
Thank you! ✂️🪡🧵🥰
thank you for this video, watch it all, love it.I just started up sowing and art after many years. Look forward to your next video.
Wonderful! I'm SO happy that you enjoyed this! It was a LOT of fun to sew this project, too!
Loved this and would love to make one. Thanks for the video.
You’re welcome 😊 I hope you give a tote bag a try! If you're interested, I have a 5 part bag series called the Freestyle Scrap Tote Bag series. Happy sewing!
Great video and commentary. Loved the finished bag.
Thanks so much! My friend loves her bag and I love making them, so it was a win-win! Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment!
Loved this Marie, so amazing. Thank you so much. I've just subscribed - even if I only watch your magic - I'm a very inept sewerHave I just written "sewer"??? Should I say "stitcher?" Maybe not. I can't sew
Lol, I'm not alone... every time I write the word "sewer" I realize that it can be pronounced a few different ways, ha ha ha!!
Thanks for the video! What a thoughtful gift!
Thanks for watching! My friend loved her bag when I gifted it to her and she uses it every day. Thank you so much for your comment!
Thanks for the tip on using safety pins for holding the straps straight.
Marie thank you this was Great love the bag
You are so welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it and I hope you have a wonderful week! Happy sewing 🧵
Beautiful Nag loved the Video
Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it! 😍
@@MariesScrappyCreations Great idea! I’m sure she will love it.
@@gquilter36 she does! 🥰
Beautiful bag ❤
Thank you! 😊
Great job. I love to sew scrappy..❤
@marygainey6908 thank you, Mary! Sorry, but your comment didn't show up. I just noticed it here
Thank you for the Beautyful video
Thanks for visiting and I'm glad you liked the video 🥰
I teally Love this bag. You did a good job in teaching
Thank you so much, Paula!
I was totally mesmerized by your video, Marie! I have only made simple patch quilts in the past, and I consider your work way “over the top!” Thank you so much 😊
You are so welcome! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! There's nothing wrong with what you're starting with, it sounds great to me! Happy sewing! 😊 🧵🪡
Marie, I love your videos and learn so much from them!
I'm so glad! Thanks so much for your comment and happy sewing!
Love you idea🎉
Thank you! 😊
I really love your channel!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying yourself!
I really enjoyed watching you sew.. it was very relaxing
I'm so glad! Thank you so much for letting me know, I appreciate that. Happy sewing!
@@MariesScrappyCreations it drives me crazy too when they don’t press. Everything we sew looks much nicer with a crisp press!
Beautiful! You make it look so easy! ❤
Thank you! 😊 I had so much fun with this project! Thanks so much for watching and leaving me a comment, I really appreciate it!
Turned out amazing!!!
Thank you so much, Connie! I hope you have a wonderful week and get plenty of sewing time!
Awesome!
Glad you think so! Happy Monday and have a wonderful week!
Great scrappy bag. I know your friend will love it! Thank you for sharing. ❤😊
Thanks so much 😊. I gave her the bag for her birthday back in July and she loved it.
I subscribed and am enjoying the entire replay of this video ❤
I’m so happy to hear! You, and others, enjoyed this and it’s a video that I had held onto without releasing for a while because I thought maybe it wouldn’t generate much interest. The opposite has been true, though. I’m happy that s many of my subscribers have found it helpful. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
Great video keep up your great 👍 videos
May God bless 🙏 you and yours 😊❤
Thanks so much, Jane! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Have a wonderful week!
So beautiful. Congratulations. Alice from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Thank you! 😊 hello in Brazil!
You’re right may of us didn’t need a tutorial to make this bag but I watched it and loved the bag and you make your bags pretty much like I make mine. Great job!
Thank you so much for such a sweet comment! I’m so happy that you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching and for letting me know. Happy sewing 🧵
How inspiring! I have dressmaking cotton scraps, very odd shapes indeed! Now I can see how I can put them to good use.
Wonderful! Dressmakers scraps … I bet you have a great variety of colors and prints to choose from! Enjoy!
I always say i wish I could sew that fast lol I've made two lap quilt out of my scraps.
Yes, if only we could also at eight times speed, ha ha! We certainly would get a lot done in a weeks time, wouldn’t we? Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
I know you said this wasn't a tutorial but I've learned a lot watching you piece all those scraps together. It is a beautiful bag!
Thank you so much! I guess by me saying it wasn’t so much a tutorial, I kind of meant I wasn’t giving much direction or any measurements. But like I had said to a friend of mine, anyone with any sewing experience would be able to follow it as a tutorial if they wanted to.
Great video! I've made many bags, but never a freestyle. Can't wait to give it a try! I gathered a few tips as well, thank you!!
I loved watching your video. You explained everything so well. And love your bag. So pretty. Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! Thank you for such a lovely comment
Awesome tutorial ❤
Forgot to say, I subscribed. Why wouldn't I? 🥰😍🤩
Thank you!!! ❤️
