They are referring to the World Championship of FIRST Robotics Competition (FIRST is an acronym standing for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”)
i think they did a really good job, better than you would expect out of most local news stations they also said "world first robotics competition" which is the correct way to say that
@@thatguyoverthere1224 what makes them consistently good is a strong mentor base, documentation and a design process that is tried and true. I talked to them at champs and the students are incredibly bright. They know the entire robot down to the bolts. Same with most top teams. How you win is iterations (build it, if it doesnt work try again, if it does, keep it), and driver practice. No elite team goes with their first robot. Just accept that some teams are better than you. I know I have and I chose to learn and my team was ranked 1000th in the US to last year being top 200 this year. It all about design process and transfer of knowledge thru documentation and training. Be better, not GP
definitely one of my favourite robots of the season, a truly amazing team!
Amazing performance by 1323 at worlds.
“World’s first robotics” goes to show how much these news reporters know about what they are talking about
yep

@@Conrad_52 but what makes them consistently good? Only one common factor across the years
@@thatguyoverthere1224 Good knowledge transfer and recruiting
@@thatguyoverthere1224 one part knowledge, one part institutional memory, one part resources, one part luck
