These are good videos. As a CPA, so many businesses are confused about formation vs registration. It’s difficult to get good advice unless you have (and pay) a good accountant.

Hi, if a business out of state collects sales tax for NJ, do we need to actually register if it is a one time sale or is there a way to just pay the sales tax collected for the one order? Thanks

I registered today because we operate in california and an employee recently moved to NJ. Everything went successful, registered as out of state with employee in NJ but now the process is done per the video and I don't have a tax ID to send to our payroll company to withhold taxes for our employee. Will this be sent to me in 2 days or is there more to this process? Thanks.

I received my download of my State of NJ business reg. but there was no certificate number listed. Did I do something incorrect?

hi,great video,i have one question,i try to open a restaurant in nj,someone told me i need business license,can i get business license after complete Business Registration? and i am confuse between business license and business register certificate,,,are they same thing? thx in advance

This video is amazing! I'm following the video guide and its been really good.
A few Questions:
#1 This form is the equivalent online version of the "NJ-REG" form that you need to send to Trenton? So I don't need to send the application via mail after completing this?
#2 I have a single member LLC with no plans of hiring workers. Should I put ONE or ZERO in the number of workers (timestamp 7:58)? Will I (the owner) be considered as a worker?

1 This form is electronic version of the NJ-REG and thus you do not need to fill out the paper version.
2 Put 0. You're your own boss, not an employee.
