I do love the practical origami creations. I haven't done it with this one, but with other designs I've scaled things up to use a full sheet of mat backing paper normally used behind smaller pictures set in larger frames. I get the paper from a local art supply store. Its a thicker paper, but it holds a fold well. I'm anxious to try this one. Thanks!
I would like to make a request: Some origami things that can be used for scrapbooking or to send to pen pals. Such as: tags, envelopes, flat containers, or especially small frames to hold miniature paintings or illustrations. And one other request (oops, that's two 😅) for an ATC (artist trading card) holder of some sorts? Thank you for making these wonderful tutorials! 💖💖💖

At 2:05 of your video do I have to fold it 2mm from the crease?
If there is no 2 mm gap, inside of the folder might bend little bit and not look good, especially with thicker paper.
