Cheers for the content, I have a 9 month old tiff tuff lawn that is begging for a reno, looking forward to getting it done. This guide is perfect for me 👍👍
Great video, getting retic on my lawn this spring, with the scarify clippings would you just spread them evenly in bare areas and then top dress or what would be the most effective way of planting them and having them take root, Cheers
Might be a silly question but I don’t have in ground irritation I do 300sq by moving the sprinkler around Can I do 2 deep waters at the start morning and later afternoon while I’m at work during the day
Doing a reno on my tiff tuff this Saturday - you’ve just given me the perfect roadmap thanks Matt 👍 my tiff tuff is just over a year old since being laid and established, assume following this plan won’t be too aggressive on it? Cheers 🍻
Mate you can still scarify buffalo. However it’s best to have around 4+ inches between the tines on the machine. Scarifying is best suited to heavily compacted soils like clay or loamy soils. But it can also benefit certain sandy/silty soils that have been baked in the warmer months and has set like cement. What you essentially did with your machine, at that shallow depth and having what looked to be about 2 inches between tines, was more a de-thatch and very light scarify.
Cheers for that. Yeah I’m looking at doing the buffalo on Thursday and I used to have a reel that did that. I don’t have that now so it’ll be a bit of hard work that’s for sure.
@@lawnporn All good mate! Love your vids, looking forward to seeing all future content! Just about to order some lawn porn humic acid. If the buff lawn isn’t too large an area, you can use your edger/atom edger to rip into it. Just have a spare set of blades on hand because you’ll burn through them
Great content as always, just a quick question, how long after we apply history can a pet rabbit roam on the grass roughly? god forbid i poison the family pet lol
I was a bit behind on starting the spring program only received the lawn porn products on wed question is I done the day one application but do I have to wait a week before doing the next app or can I do it earlier?

Great video, really incredibly helpful. Can you advise on how to scarify without a machine? I have TifTuf

Spread evenly, lightly Topdress and keep moisture up.

Certainly. No problem.
Great vid mate as always.
Question about scarifying, I have kik and if I scalp it hard all the way to dirt, is it still necessary to scarify?
I would if you can. Gets to some the the thatch that’s at the soil surface. Opens it up for better water, air and nutrient exchange.

How thick can I top dress? I have spot in my tif tuf that is 50mm lower than the rest. Or do I need to level it out some other way. Thanks

After you have watered in you’ll be fine.

You can do the launch all a few days after the moist and four seasons. You can compress it a bit here and ther no worries.
@@lawnporn thanks a lot mate
