London looks so gorgeous, modern and elegant ❤
London has an amazing skyline. Looking forward to seeing more skyscrapers built over the next few years.
The future of skyscrapers are mixed use, mixed material buildings for mixed incomes... Everyone who wants to live in one should be able to both from a financial and family size aspect... Tall timber/CLT with concrete cores should be seriously looked into as they are technically viable up to at least 40 stories now!
wow I moved from London in 2008 when the Gherkin was a big deal. I dont recognise it any more!
I love skyscrapers i think London looks amazing, it's a pity all the investment is in the south.I would love cities in the north to look this good.
The issue is the lack of smart affordable apartments for working people. Living in a high rise in central Tokyo is perfectly doable on £25k a year. The result is a bustling city full of normal people living their lives. In London the high rises seem exclusively for stock brokers and oligarchs - and this is reflected in how dead it often feels at the bases of such buildings at night.
Lovely top

Those telephone-like buildings are simply disgusting. Why do they exist and why londoners still rising them up?
Making new towers is irresponsible, you should use that money to revamp the old main streets and old houses from zone 1 to zone 6. The main streets are too old, we have to demolish then and make more modern centers, without red bricks. I prefer the grey and yellow ones.haha.
London looks like any medium to large size Chinese city now. Nothing else.
Are you the London girl as well
Don’t you want to redo the old main streets and redo the bad red houses spread out on kilometres instead from zone 2 to zone 12? Instead of trying to impress Europeans through image with aireal footage of towers? Because when we come in real, there is some disappointment, when we walk downtown. We can’t even live in these towers as it is 90% of the time for business purposes .The gap image_reality is too big… for example the shard
Why are first world countries not doing what builders are doing in Mexico? Tall mix-use towers with residential, commercial, office floors and some even have hotels
Poor London!!
That one canada square tower in canary wharf was supposed to be over 260meters taller and thinner, but its all thanks to city airport that stop them from building it taller, but why couldn't they just close the city airport down or just move them west of London or far west, so they don't have to worry about the airport radar's, just wish we have 350meters to 400 meters skyscraper at canary wharf like they did at New York where they have world trade centre down lower Manhatten and Empire state building in mid Manhatten, or would you rather have 700ft tower and another 700ft tower next to it all over London gets you leaving like Huh? Plus it dont look right
Modern London is ugly!!! 🤮🤮🤮
Fun fact telling people from London they smell like fish is considered a compliment
Skyscrapers are disgusting, London looks disgusting.
no build taller, we dont live in a village
