Sun in Scorpio, with moon in Cancer here, and what Nichole said here about over-parenting I think might have been true for me...I figured this out just through experience...and a little late in the game.. I loved giving and doing as much as I could just to make my son's life "easy" and "pleasant" and "pain free"...and didn't understand the importance of allowing him to handle more of the "bumps" in life. This has to happen eventually anyway , and all will be fine regardless, but it's just easier (for them!) if they learn to cope with difficulties earlier in life when the problems tend to be smaller and while their whole psyche has a easier time "wiring in" the qualities of resiliency..and/or confidence that they can take risks because they know from experience that they can deal with discomfort and move past it.
I have several relatives who are water signs and it has taught me a lot about not only how they relate to earth signs but how they influence me as well

And, though its indirect, I have a strong Piscean Venus energy going on: 12th House Venus trine Neptune, and descendant in Pisces. So, I have a water trifecta.
