So funny, I just had some Asaro olives out of a jar I got at Costco a few weeks ago. The bright green color caught my eye, and the taste has made me a fan forever. These are the best olives I've ever had. The flavor of the olive really shines through over the brine more than any other olive, and they're so buttery yet a bit firm. The taste, texture and look make them feel like they very well may have been picked just yesterday. Awesome to learn about the family behind these green gems!
Amazing video of the Asaro family and the olive groves ! This has shown me that Partanna olive oil is going to be my olive oil of choice from this day forward. This family is committed to quality and old world tradition which you don't often see now days.
I buy Partanna frequently. Im a small vegetable farmer in Wisconsin and really connect when people produce a good quality product. Thanks for the tours. It makes it real.
Very impressed video ! My son, Ethan Son loves to eat Italia sicilian olives. Eating olives, me and my son searched some videos at TH-cam. And my son really enjoyed your video. Thanks for all ! from S. Korea ❤
Hello, I'm very excited to have found these. My Grandfather is from Castelvatrano and many family members are still there and Trapani where can I purchase the olive oil and olives San Diego here
Hey everyone, I did a taste test of this wonderful castelvetrano olive and I would really appreciate it if you viewed my video on its unique flavor! thanks, have a great day
You should better change the writings/ credits . The colours look unprofessional, it’s my opinion... I watched all the episodes, its fun, happy for you to show us beautiful Sicily in every way.. Love from istanbul 💖
Thank you. I ask because some companies do wait until they fall but then they are damaged and not good, so they then add stuff to bring the taste back and that olive oil is not as good...thanks
@@YouMeandSicily I understand but it doesn’t say Organic on them? If they were organic it would have the organic label certificate on them or is it different in Sicily it’s not required by law for it to say Organic?
Eating these exact olives from this exact farm and watching this video! They are absolutely perfect!
Thank you !
I buy your olive oil and love it. So wonderful it is organic.
My grandmother was from Castelvetrano. I love those olives!
So fascinating! My great grandfather came from Partanna. The more I learn about Sicily the more it calls to me!

so do they pick the olives off the trees or wait till they fall from trees for the olive oil they sell?
No they pick the olives off the tree. You don't want the olives to be punctured.
Thank you. I ask because some companies do wait until they fall but then they are damaged and not good, so they then add stuff to bring the taste back and that olive oil is not as good...thanks

Sorry for being rude but can you please speak Italian
98% of our audience is English speaking..
Alfred Zappala English with Italian subtitles would be a nice compromise.
