I love that Lego chose R2-KT! It shows that Star Wars has an impact on peoples lifes! In that regard it is probably the most powerful of the anniversary minifigures.
Since we have confirmation that KT will come with 3 rebels and 3 stormtroopers I think it could be a super battle pack ($30). My other idea for what it could be since the cereal number starts with 40 would be like a starwars meme troopers pack. This would make sense because of how much non canon things Lego has been making these days. It would be cool if there was a rebel friend figure and a beach storm trooper and/or a beach Vader.

So i dont know if i will get hate for this comment but although i fully appriciate story behind this droid im little iffy with Lego using it to make money. Escpesially if it comes from UCS set or very limited time set. Feels like Lego is using this story to feed FOMO of audience

this was a great choice for Lego to make as that 6th minifigure for the anniversary. Such a great idea with a touching story behind it.
