Old Bushings Get TORCHED!

  • The time has come to get rid of that old rubber in the subframe. We make a special tool to remove the trailing arm bushings using some 3/8" all thread, 1-1/4" nuts, and some assorted washers. Finally, we pulled the torch out to remove the last stubborn bushings!

    You can use a nice large 1/2 drive
    deep well socket or PVC tubing to capture the bushing and guide the new ones in the same way without cutting them. Good luck nice work! The rear diff bushings should be pressed out and new ones pressed in by a shop press. The carrier bushings are supposed to be purchased with the steel casings.
