@@DOGPOOCHOGENIUS 1. She could have made a mistake. 2. If she did think that all she needs to be is corrected. 3.Are u an astronomer also? Because it seems like with the knowledge you can search up on google you think you can say she doesn’t know basic things. Stop trying to think you’re better than an actual astronomer. To become an astronomer they put in a lot of work 4. If you are an astronomer you should know better.

I had a print of the original deep field image on my office wall for 15 years, along with a picture of the LM rendezvousing with the CM showing the moon in the foreground and the earth in the background. These two significant events happened in my lifetime. If I were to ick another, it might be the discovery of cosmic background radiation.

I"m pretty sure the Catholic authorities were in no hurry to embrace Galileo's conclusions. Of course he wasn't the first to propose the heliocentric model of the solar system. I imagine there were many others, even before Copernicus. Still even today, few people can convincingly prove that the earth revolves around the sun.

Why the woman is talking about astronomy, if she doesn't know the basic things ! . It wasn't Galileo it was Copernicus ! . Copernicus discovered that Earth is not the center of the universe. Copernicus discover that the sun is stationary.

Let's play along for a moment that nasa tell you about space but the earth is flat.. It would look like a circle of melt water with an ice ring that doesn't melt and holds in the oceans like a pond. Isn't it just as likely that aliens exist and come from beyond the ice ring? There could be other areas like ours that have a sun circling a magnetic north and leaving the oceans full of melt water. Those aliens would be happy to know that our understanding of "space" is incorrect. In fact, they would bolster the notion of space so we don't catch on that they are coming from across a flat plane that stretches out for millions of miles.
