Texture painting shouldn't require more vertices because it's painting pixels not vertices. This is just advance vertex painting.

I dont have texture in the paint option in the current version, only place i find texture is in the material section(top left of screen) and i cant apply it properly from there. any help apreciated

The app is constantly being expanded and changed. Use the upload date for the TH-cam search and look for the version number in the title. th-cam.com/video/4u1A-FufgWs/w-d-xo.html

@@ProcreateFX i have the latest update 1.84 and all the videos i find on texture coloring are from 1 or 2 years ago. Hopefully someone will make a video about it soon. I. Ant seem to figure it out, im very new at this. Thank you

​This video is for UV textures and reproject. You have to distinguish between UV textures and vertex painting. With Vertex painting, it is also possible to use colored texture images.@@stanleykubik1778
