Don’t say anything until the thought is crystal. Clear in your mind go back and listen to this most recent podcast, you just did right now this one the one I’m coming listen to yourself cause you’ll be the best judge. Nobody else can do a better job of judging you than yourself. I’m just suggesting because I love you and I love watching your podcast and you know, I watch every single one of them. All of them never have missed one since you started two years ago so trust me when I tell you, it’s OK if you leave silence for 15 20/32 and gather your thought about whatever you’re getting ready to say and then say it that would you instead of instead of just repeating, repeating, repeat, repeating, repeating, repeating, repeat, repeating, repeating, repeating that gets annoying and I venture a guess because I’ve had enough people add a like to my comments when I say these things, there are several members of your audience that probably turn you off or two now when you do that, especially after they’ve listened for three or four episodes so I’m just lovingly suggesting going forward try this tomorrow on your next podcast if you aren’t ready for your thought or it scrambled in your mind and you want to get it across then stop if you’re with a partner let Jason speak while you’re getting your thought together if you’re alone if you’re doing the lockdown podcast, then stop and let it be quiet. Let there be silence up to 30 seconds. You have grace now if you go much longer than that OK then people are gonna start getting angry that you’re being too quiet but you can certainly gather your thoughts together within 30 seconds and then begin the sentence or idea you wanna say. God, I hope this helps you. I wanna see you succeed so badly you have no idea and being on the radio myself having my own radio show and being a public speaker for 30+ years, I know what you’re going through. I’ve been there if you’ve never joined a Toastmasters group consider doing that seriously consider finding a local Toastmasters club that you can join near where you live so you don’t have to drive too far. They usually early in the morning and you’re a morning person so they usually start their meetings at 6:30 or seven for breakfast, but join the toastmasters and stick with it until you become a certified ToastMaster or achieve the level of CTM once you’ve done that I promise you, you’ll stop with the repeating repeating repeat, repeating or with the arms in the Oz you’ll you’ll learn to be silent. Get your thought together and then move forward and I know I ramble because I just rambled right now on this comment so trust me I get it but you can do it and the reason I want you to be successful is because I believe you can become like Erin Torres I really do. I think you have that talent and capability to become nationally syndicated. If you haven’t listened to him listen to the guy that runs locked on big 12 I don’t remember his name offhand, but I’ve heard him several times. Listen to him. He’s a young guy. In fact he’s only about 23 or 24 years old just out of Baylor, but listen to the guy who does locked on big 12 and how he does his reads his advertisement. You don’t need to tell people come on get the way get away. You don’t need to do that when you read the ad just read that just just get through the ad. People don’t need the nonsense.
