4:33:32 I think the craziest part about this is that- we've already seen a brick cellphone being used literally last chapter. His bag phone he's so proud of is already obsolete.
love love love when majima offers the drunk guy the towel he actually nods. so thoroughly disarmed by Majima that you think "phew actually i could use a towel thanks" while in the middle of fighting him
34:08 i tried SO DAMN HARD to sync up my resub alert to majima going "It's showtime!" and i completely forgot to accommodate for the resub fanfare alongside the stream delay (which is what i DID work out beforehand)
38:06 Shit dude, the more I see of Majima here the more impressed I am and the more worried I am about how he eventually becomes the Mad Dog he's known as in the later games. Like, holy shit, what is about to happen to this man?
The Jan Jan Jan ja-ja ja-jan calls in heartbreak mermaid reminds me of me and my friends aggressively screaming the "DUN DUN"s for tainted love whenever one of us does that one in private karaoke
Years too late here, but rubber ducks have a big presence in some car cultures (namely Jeeps, Subarus, and I think Jeep-like SUVs?) for "games". I have relatives with Jeeps, and essentially you keep ducks on hand to sneak onto other Jeeps and surprise them with it; such as tucked onto their door handle or windshield wiper. People will show off the ducks they collect in their windshield or back window too. I think folks not involved in the car culture also picked up on it as some sort of fad? If you're curious to learn more, the Jeep game is called "Duck duck jeep" and I believe the Subaru one is "Moo moo subaru" (i think you're supposed to use rubber cows for those..? Makes less sense to me than the Jeep one). This might sound a bit niche, but I've seen relatives buy boxes worth of ducks to keep up the hobby! Hope that answers the question for anyone who catches this comment.. unless it's answered on stream past when I paused to write this.
I love their reaction to the dad's gay awakening

5:54:56 Ok this is neat but I think I would prefer if we could skip to the part where we beat the shit out of all these guys already
