I use to be a slave to masturbation and when I found Christ, the sexual dreams were rampage and even increased during times of low faith . Fasting and praying is the only way to true deliverance. Satan has been breathing down my neck since childhood, I've had a hard time sticking to my convictions and it has isolated me a lot growing up during the 80's and 90's i wasn't raised a Christian but always believed in God, as an adult i gave into satan because of a man but it never felt right, i always found flaws in the so called new age spiritual stuff and me and this man would argue all the time about it he bashed me on four occasions for being stronger than him in my morals , I had so many weird things happen and I knew it wasn't good, it didn't take me long to come to the truth that Jesus is our saviour. I told this man he picked the wrong side confessed my love of Jesus let Jesus into my heart and two weeks later Jesus removed this man from my life by putting him in jail, thank the Lord for i would never have been truly saved with him in my life.

Wow powerful testimony ! The devil is a liar. I used to have nightmares, but “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world” When I was having those nightmares I would get up read Psalm 91 and put the Bible right under my pillow. I could see the devil fleeing like a dirty rat that he is. This is why the Bible is called “The Living Word of God” it’s alive and the devil knows it. The Word of God is my defense against the devil.

Hi, lots of emotions going on there. If you are basing your faith in Jesus with being happy, feeling high on heaven and feeling better, you won't find those in scripture.
Faith is believing in God and His written Word regardless of circumstances. Feelings come and go. Can be up then down again. Learning to know God the Father and Jesus is how you grow in your love and trust in God. Understanding His ways- His thoughts. Christianity is not heaven on earth. You will need to endure when you find it hard. You'll need to be faithful when tempted.
You seem to be in what is called, happy church. God isn't in happy church because the people want flesh happy but not die to the flesh.They are decieved to think they are saved when it's happy they want, and think that's what salvation is about.
Listen to tried and true ministers and you won't want the fake stuff. The Word of God is interesting because it's about God.God loves, but He is Holy and calls us to be holy. Mature in the wisdom of God.
