I just made the bacon, is it supposed to be chewy?? Or did I do something wrong? I didn’t use my cast iron was to small I used my cookie sheet. Could that have been the problem?😊
Hey 👋🏽 Thanks for trying the bacon technique. Ok it is best to make in a cast iron because the pan holds heat and allows the mushrooms to get really crispy. However you don’t have to use one. By allowing it to cook a little longer then totally cooling down it won’t be chewy 👍🏽
@myvegankitchenlife Probably still wouldn't try it. Over time, unless it's a white towel, they tend to harbor an odor, even after washing. But I have a tofu press! 😉 #microbiology

Love ur videos as always.. I make the bacon and I use a peeler or mandolin sometimes and make them really thin, they get sooo crispy just like bacon

What brand of vegan cheese do you use?
