Prussia was a big german Empire, spanning from the now Baltic States (like Latvia estonia etc) over Poland into nearly all of northern and west germany as it is today.

Originally it formed from the territory, claimed by Knights Teutonic during the Baltic Crusades. The German Empire formed when Prussia merged with smaller German principalities.

The Holdfast community is filled with goofballs that is a mix of semi-serious rpers, goofy rpers, and people dedicated to spreading chaos through the voice chat. Example of the first one is the leader guy named General Ted who is in many videos. An example of the second are those who run around with Boston accents and those talking like Mickey Mouse and Donald duck. The third are those spamming random noises.

The Kingdom of Prussia was a German state that existed before Germany unified into one country. There were more than 30 independent German states which would go on to unify under Prussia in the new German Empire after they won the Franco-Prussian War against France in 1871

I always mistype Britain like that, and have to correct afterwards.
Prussia was the most militaristic of the German states that emerged out of the Holy Roman Empire founded by Charlemagne (King Karl the Great of the Franks). They built their influence and territory by being a small country with a big army. By defeating Austria and then Denmark and then France in the middle of the 19th century, they persuaded the rest of the petty states in north Germany to join them in creating the German Empire under their king. Already by the Napoleonic wars they were powerful enough to play an equal role in the alliance that defeated Napoeon Bonaparte, and then they were one of the big 5 - England, France, Prussia, Austria Hungary and Russia which maintained a peace in Europe by balance-of-power, meaning that they were each roughly equally powerful so none could conquer another or try to take on everyone like Napoleon had, from 1815 to 1914.

12:30 not a katyusha a congreve rocket sir, I beleive first used in India when Britain ( sorry Britian) was invading over there and brought back to Europe in time for the napoleonic wars, they were very innacuate but highly terrifying for troops getting artilleried.

Prussia was a Kingdom of Germans that traced their roots back to the Teutonic Knights. Their homelands are where modern day North Germany and Poland exist today. (It was also why Hitler said Northern Poland belonged to Germany, due to it being historical Prussian land). Bismark was Prussian and became the Prussian Chancellor under Emperor Wilhelm, and it was then that Prussia took charge as the largest of the German states to unite them into Germany with a war with France that intended to unite Germany through national spirit and war. His “Blood and Iron” speech/pact was considered to be the greatest reason for unification and dominated Prussian and later German policies later on.
Today Prussians are essentially extinct, as the people themselves became Germans. However many Germans and even Poles can and do claim to be Prussian-Germans the same way an American would claim to be Irish-American due to their ancestry, only it’s less of a genealogy thing for modern day Prussian-Germans and more so a self title they give themselves to distinguish themselves from other Germans in a sort of regional Identity.
But it was the Prussians who fought and defeated Napoleon the 3rd (Napoleon’s nephew) during the 2nd Franco-German war.
