it might not be the *last* canto (nothing stopping pm from going purgatorio and paradiso, we have enough dangling plot threads that I actually kinda doubt we'll wrap up everything by chap 12), but yeah I expect the last ever pass on is gonna be a pretty emotional moment - for the characters, and for the fandom.
the fact that some of them clash against each other works in the same way that each sinner's personality clashes with other's in such a way that makes it better than it would be having only one sinner in each canto or only have personalities that compliment other's personalities

You know... I believe that them not being in sync is very fitting... The entirety of canto 1-6 is about how they began to work together. Everyone is in disagreement at many points (especially Ishmael)... And it was the lowest point yet... I believe this is a culmination of everything that has happened so far...
I Hope they do this at the end of inferno and in the purgatorio and the other one (can't remember rn) there are different songs, maybe the purgatorio one about dealing with the present and paradiso about preparing yourself for the future.

Other noteworthy things, Sinclair’s symbol is also an egg symbolizing his immaturity and that he hasn’t broken out of his shell yet, and around Ishmael’s compass there’s a rope.
@@dishsoap4588 I like how purposeful that is. Rodion's is purposefully extremely different in terms of tone from everybody else. It doesn't feel like her moving on, or being stuck to her past, or anything quite meaningful. It's just a proud display of how 'awesome' she is (for lack of a better description). There's no exceptionally-emotional tone and the instrumental sounds nice and sometimes gets a bit mysterious/dark, but ultimately just sounds good. It's cold, secretive, and extremely dissonant from everybody else. Very much like Rodion who couldn't give a shit about anybody else and only admires herself.

my only complaint with this is i think that the other versions should be a bit quieter during the added lyrics, like the stuff yi sang says just gets sorta drowned out with the music
