Awesome! I'm not real familiar with the song but I'm motivated to learn because your grasp of the theory and attention to detail. In the past, I've tried to learn songs only to find later that I'm playing them incorrectly. It makes me doubt my ability to learn or trust my ear.

Thank you for this. Very clear and easy to follow. Even though "you're not a singer" (yet), I found it very helpful when you sang a few lines as I could hear how the piano should be accompanying that part of the song.

It’s easy to play apart from the intro and sounds pretty good:) would you please consider giving some pointers towards some easy rhythms to use for a slightly more advanced version? I’ve tried watching Alecia but I’m sure there are a few steps between what she does and this simple version. Keep up the great work
My pleasure! The video is not an easy version per-se, these are in fact the chords that she plays. You don't want to distract from the vocal melody, so keep the chords simple and play them with exactly the rhythm I was demonstrating in the video. If the intro is giving you the most trouble, focus your attention there as it is the most rhythmically taxing part of the piece. Good luck!!

The intro is verbatim, but she varies the rhythm, attack and inversions of chords as any pop pianist would when sitting down to accompany themselves through the song. Thanks for watching!
