Finally, someone uses actual facts and logic. As someone who's been basically dumpster diving into the fnaf SB Ruin theories, this was pretty refreshing
The true reason why is because while he’s down their he finds a computer and signs into TH-cam, finding Hex’s videos and realizes: Hey maybe roxy isn’t that bad after all.
I agree with the you hex. Why would they leave such a "cliffhanger" and not unitize it? It wouldn't make sense, of course a lot of things in the franchise don't make sense but I hope steel wool have learned a lesson with the main game and now ruin. Hopefully they continue Cassie's and Roxanne's story because there's a lot of opportunity what would be missed.
To add to this: 1. Roxy's ultimate fate is ambiguous by *design*. As such, there is no way to conclusively prove that she lived or died. I know a lot of people point to the sounds of Roxy and Mimic's fight as "proof" that she died, but the fight literally just ends with the sound of a metal impact followed by the sound of something slamming into a rocky surface. It sounds less like Roxy 100% died and more like the Mimic just slammed her into the wall or something. 2. The Mimic has been working for *hours* to reel Cassie in. Sure, his primary goal was to escape, but I'm sure he had been looking forward to killing her as well. If Gregory and Cassie weren't talking while the Mimic fought with Roxanne, Cassie would've been halfway through the tunnels by the time the Mimic emerged. Because of this, the Mimic would've wanted to end the fight as soon as possible so he could pursue Cassie before she got away, so he wouldn't have taken the time to properly kill off Roxanne if it was easier to simply knock her out or block her off. 3. Roxanne Wolf has quickly become one of the most popular FNAF characters (go check out Steel Wool Studio's TH-cam page, she's on their banner), so purely from a business standpoint, it'd be stupid to permanently kill her off. 4. With Ruin ending the way it did, both Roxy and Cassie now have a reason to hate Gregory and seek revenge. Scott and/or Steel Wool may have set this up in order to have an equal and opposing force to Gregory and Glamrock Freddy (who might be fully repaired by now. I have a theory that Gregory and Vanessa retrieved Freddy's original body from FazerBlast and replaced it with a prototype body so that Fazbear Entertainment wouldn't notice that they took it, and they used parts from the Prototype's head to make a security node and installed it on Roxanne, which explains her weird faceplate). This might serve to replace the Afton vs Emily or Afton vs Vengeful Spirit(s) dynamic that existed in the old games. Like, there might be an actual legit narrative reason why Cassie shares her name with the vengeful spirit that possessed Golden Freddy.
I understand the revenge part, I honestly hope Cassie survived the elevator fall and reunited with Roxy and try to escape the Pizzaplex together and hopefully Chica and Eclipse join them too, I hope they don’t go the Cassie dies and becomes a vengeful spirit thing, That’s just me though, I honestly hope they just move on from the past games and just go with new things for the new characters, Don’t hate me please.
And another thing, it’s also possible that The Mimic dropped the elevator and not Gregory, Which I think is more likely, Of course Cassie won’t know that at first but if The real Gregory ever comes back, He can explain that he didn’t drop the elevator and gain Cassie’s trust back.
I highly doubt it that Vanessa and Gregory gave Roxanne a new faceplate(doesn’t matter whether it’s a prototype or not). In the endo room, we see many endos and they all have the same endos as Roxanne and Freddy and the rest of them have. If they did have a prototype endo we would’ve seen it because why would they remove a prototype endoskeleton from there. We actually hear Vanessa say something along the lines of “Let’s wait until tomorrow where we slap your casing on a new endo”. This clearly means that if the pizzaplex DID make a prototype Freddy, they’d have to change the endo it had. If a prototype endo did have a problem they would just “slap the casing on a new endo” because we know you don’t need the casing to think, the endos have their own mind and programming, just that when they replace it with a new casing they add personality to it. The “prototype” on Freddy’s foot is most likely because the team at the pizzaplex KNEW that the animatronics are malfunctioning so they became the prototypes and they covered their feet so that the public wouldn’t think that they are prototypes and can glitch. It’s possible that in the universe, there is a law where you cannot have a prototype serve as an animatronic for safety laws. So, they knew they had to keep the pizzaplex running and they covered it up.
I’d be neat to have Roxy walk around still blind, but knows there are special things that need to be done to get to good ending. And due to them being BLIND, they need you and your faz wrench to do it. Also Cassie loves Roxy, and Hex’s channel would die if Roxy doesn’t come back with a completely new endo design.
Totally agree with the theory that it can't be the mimic. When Cassie gets dunked on in the elevator she's alone, all she has is her roxy-talky. Conveniently the last room we see Roxy in is the same room where the other...freddy-talky(?) was dropped by the mimic, so it makes a lot more sense for the name "roxy-talky" to be hinting at her being the one talking at the end (and possibly going forward if they pick things up where they left off). Even if she was left in a damaged state on the floor after duking it out with "the tall asshat" she'd likely still be able to make her way to that other walkie talkie to communicate with Cassie again. overall ver nice theerie
Here's some affirmation, because I agree with you. Because narrative wise, this makes more sense. At the same time I don't trust this franchise to make things that are good for its narrative. Still though I agree with the theory and hope it's right (plus I came to the exact same conclusion after Ruin with this basically being the theory I crafted as well). Plus think of all the merchandise they could make out of a game with a friendly Roxanne! They're leaving so much money on the table if they kill this popular character off so soon after she's become even more popular and well liked in the franchise than before. People like money, Roxy alive equals more money than if she wasn't, therefore Roxy is alive.
I think/hope Roxy will become a new puppet type character. Animatronic finds dead/dying child, tries to console it, ends up haunted by the child and is now the protector of the other animatronics.
It would be interesting for them both to have conversations within their own head, Roxy still intact and is kept alive by Cassie’s undying will, while also keeping Cassie alive, much like Cassidy but good. Withered Bonnie can see without eyes, which could imply that the spirit possessing him can still see, by absorbing Cassie’s remnant she has a new way of seeing again.
I actually used to think that it was The Mimic but you're video helped me see how stupid that was. It would be pointless for The Mimic to do his thing again and not leave. Besides, after the elevator crashed down I think The Mimic thinks Cassie is dead.

Affirmation time, because I agree with the theory that Roxy lives. The Mimic has literally no reason to trick Cassie anymore cuz it got what it wanted. It doesn't need her anymore. And while I don't think Cassie is dead, I'd imagine that being dropped down an elevator shaft wouldn't exactly be great for her health, so I doubt she's in any shape to get up and walk around. My bet is that whenever we continue this part of the story, we could end up playing as Roxy, and attempt to find Cassie after she got dropped down the elevator shaft. Who knows, maybe the main threat in that could be The Blob, because we know that's still roaming around the place
I found this channel after finishing Ruin and feeling crushed and wondering what happened to Roxanne and am so glad I did! I hope you're right and she did survive, it would be such a waste of potential to not bring her back she's the best
I really hope this theory comes true. Roxy probably went to find Cassie and helped her get out of the lift. Would be awesome if we got a second game in the Pizzaplex underground with Roxanne helping us (that also leaves potential for Eclipse to come back)
When I heard Roxy call out "Cassie" after the credits, I was like "Let's gooo, Roxy is alive! Save our girl Cassie!". But then I found all those people saying that was actually the mimic, and I was like "Wtf are you on?". Seriously, that was obviously Roxy and it's stupid how so many people try to convince others that this is the Mimic. If the mimic found Cassie after the elevator crash, it would just kill her lol...just how it was trying to do during the whole chase sequence. I thought there was a possibility that the Mimic needs our help to escape, but it can clearly just use the elevator that Cassie came in from. Even if the voice came from the Mimic who needs our help, there is no way Cassie would ever help it or even trust its voice again. The mimic isn't stupid and Cassie isn't stupid. The mimic trying to trick Cassie *again* wouldn't work, it's a dumb plan, especially after the ruin ending
I too was confused on how Roxy made her way to the Pizza caverns or tussled with scrap metal, but when a human loses one of their senses, their other senses get super buffed. Meaning if you lose your eyesight, you have incredible hearing, and vice versa. Which makes that fight so much cooler, because she was judging where the mimic was and what he was about to do just by noises, and bought Cassie like a whole 40 seconds. Impressive.
I like to imagine, as the ending of Help Wanted 2, there'll be a cameo, where Roxy will do the Keanu Reeves E3 entrance to Cassie lying in the rubble xd
I will admit the endings to Ruin gave us more questions then answers, which isn't satisfying, but one thing is clear, Steel Wool did a good job with the DLC. Not only did they make it free, but they also gave us a cool physical design to what The Mimic looks like. Let's hope Help Wanted 2, will give us clarification, and maybe answer some questions? Fnaf isn't perfect, but I still love it, flaws and all.
I mean they do the same thing many times, technically we burned Spring trap multiple times, also I feel that he is programmed to mimic things, I feel like he isn't trying to say anything in particular, I think it's just so the player knows that he is now mimicking Roxy. I also think that that's not the cannon ending, and he got scooped anyways. Also Help wanted 2 happens before ruin
I think you're right. Mainly because I wasn't bothered by the ending of ruin at all. But now that I've listened to you explain your points. Yeah they make sense. And I wouldn;t mind what you suggest either. Having Roxxane guide you would be pretty cool. She is my favorite after all. And no, that's not just me meming about her constant voice lines about being the best. She actually is my favorite out of the 4. Followed by garbage chicken because I find it funny when she stuffs her face with out of date salami :P
Theory: Ruin Roxanne has either been changed because of Steel Wool, lore reasons, or this is a different Roxanne model we discovered. I'm not sure and I know it's a bit far fetched, but it's fnaf. Glad to see you got around to the Roxanne Wolf and Gregory Show. Yeah Roxanne is Gregory's adoptive mom basically. Also, I'm glad Roxanne is still around, she's my fav animatronic and I'm glad they didn't just get of her, not for your source of income, but because she's Roxanne. Imagine Roxanne being your guide and we get to explore her relationship more with humans such as Cassie, it would be one heck of a game. Probably one of the best in the franchise. I already like the idea of Cassie and Roxanne being a duo more than Gregory and Freddy. Freddy is too obvious and crap, and Gregory is just annoying at times. Cassie feels real, I love her character way more than Gregory and Roxanne isn't just insecure, but generally seems to care about Cassie and I would love to see a game focused on them. I'm sure some emotions will be felt. I think you're right, like the mimic is free now and Roxanne clearly can handle some rough situations, she survived being deactivated some how. The fact that Roxanne, while blind, managed to get her way all the way to Cassie to hold the mimic off says a lot about how much she cares for Cassie, but also the struggles she's willing to endure trying to find her. This is only my opinion but I find that the relationship between Roxanne and Cassie does not have the same impact as that of Freddy and Gregory. Freddy did not know Gregory and yet helped him immediately until the end and you really feel a dad and son vibe. And sure Roxanne and Cassie didn't have as much time to develop but for me it was just rushed and forced. The way Roxanne acted with her seemed like it was part of her program nothing more. It could have been Cassie like it could have been another kid.. But like why is Cassie special lmao, attending a child's birthday is her job she did that a million times Also I like Roxanne but I hate how she’s the "chosen one" while Monty and Chica are left to rot it’s just sad

Roxy was saying that everyone loves her(when Gregory was watching through the vent)everyone wants to be her, and yet her fear that everyone doesn't truly care about her was completely right, everyone except for Cassie, the one that truly loves her. Cassie is a special case, Roxy connected with her.
You're probably right about all this stuff, it does clarify lots of things Although one thing I didn't get it right is that when Cassie deactivates Roxy, Roxy actually _see_ the Faz-wrench, you can see by her line and expression when the faz-wrench is getting closer. Now, I have no idea why, but maybe it has something to do with the VANNI mask? There must be an explanation why Roxy can actually go to places without actually seeing after Cassie deactivated her
It’s clear that those endings weren’t canon, aside from the neutral ending, which seems like the most canon one. The cliffhanger could imply Roxy knew that Cassie was still in danger, she’d reboot herself again to keep protecting her. In the Scooper ending, Roxy lets herself die knowing that Cassie would finally be safe enough to escape by herself. Whereas in the Brazil ending, I doubt Roxy would want to be alive to see or even know that one of the few people to care about her is torn limb from limb. Roxy had learned to rely on hearing, probably being now better than before, plus there’d be an echo bouncing throughout the cave. Logically, she would investigate as that crash happens to be coming from the same direction that she saw Cassie run in, so it would make sense for her to get up to see if Cassie had made it out, only to be surprised she is still down there, based on the tone of her voice “Cassie?”. As if she is about to ask, ‘What are you still doing down here, I thought you took the elevator out?’ Mini Theory: Roxy was able to follow Cassie in time because after deactivating, her mind temporarily had access to the security camera systems to follow where she was going. How she was able to see in the first place was when she was deactivated her mind was uploaded to the network, my evidence to prove that this was the case was when you wear the mask after deactivating her, you hear her crying, but this is actually her crying in real time after being uploaded and not just from before as a reference. Then she would be re-downloaded back to her body once the reboot was complete, and the reason why the reboot took way longer than Sun/Moon did was because she was close to the sinkhole, and the network coverage is very limited and slow over there, also as shown by Gregory’s poor connection through the staff bots, which was nearby to that area too. Some reboots and self-reactivations just take ages like when Glamrock Freddy did on stage.
LETS GOOOOO ok so, talking from a story writing perspective, this makes sense what ive been taking as canon is fuhnaff's theory that ruin is a parallel to the twisted ones the evidence: Charlie in the book, thinks her brother is stuck in a mall. - Cassie thinks gregory is stuck in the pizzaplex The mall was set to be demolished, but got destroyed by a tornado - wrecking ball in raceway, earthquake destroys pizzaplex Charlie finds a cave with green mushrooms, a waterfall, and a facility with carnival themed mascots - literally the sinkhole and the fnaf 6 location Charlie thinks her brother is behind a door covered in concrete (cmom its already obvious) Its a trap, but before charlie gets attacked, foxy tackles the animatronic (its even the original counterpart come onnn) In the end, it seems like charlie got killed by the twisted ones, but then all of her friends are looking surprised and one even says: "charlie?" This is so obvious, but theres more the first book (previous to the twisted ones) tells the story of a group of friends exploring a mall that was built over an old freddy's pizzeria. While exploring it, they end up finding springtrap. This is way less clear but could be security breach. And the third book is now basically the key of the next dlc or game, and guess where it takes place? Circus baby's pizza world, and we just happen to be going down the sl bunker in help wanted w's trailer :)
and it makes sense that the mimic wouldn't eliminate roxanne after all, she's blind so she souldn't be able to track him down easily in a place she doesn't know (at least not supposed to but she did somehow find cassie down there really fast) plus he wanted to get cassie and he needed to be fast as she was escaping so why even take time to "kill" Roxanne
I do feel that roxy is more likely because I doubt theyd introduce Roxy and Cassie being friends and have the emotional scene with cassie shutting her down and roxy saving cassie just to throw it away in the next game or dlc
Ah yes, Glegely. Just like NotRealName NotAtAll's Vananny. I'm all seriousness, I feel like this makes more sense story-wise. If they go the route of "Roxy is actually the Mimic!!1!1!!!" after being so not obscure about Gregory actually being the Mimic, it would be a huge let down and waste of potential. But I won't be surprised. After all, they sidelined Vanny/Vanessa for Mr. "I always come back" after hyping her up to be the big bad.
Maybe we have Roxi and Mimic in the next game and you need to follow orders but you never know who you follow tricking you into the hands of mimic again for a bad ending....
Maybe Roxanne made it down there because right before the MXES got turned off it was able to ping Cassie's location as a place an animatronic would need to get to immediately? The real question is how did Roxanne jump between Cassie and the mimic if she couldn't see either of them? She didn't step on Cassie? Is that why Roxanne looks like a bat now?
I wonder how a post ruin dlc would work enemy wise like yeah mimic but who else monty seens like he's dead chica seems out of power eclipse seems to be friendly enough, leaving the blob/tangle could do something ANYTHING but seriously what's its deal? mini music men, dj music man, glamrock endos (nice if they had more damaged designs) and Freddy's body
I’m glad I’m not the only one who absolutely despises the mimic. I just hate him for different reasons. Since we were left to believe that Burntrap was Afton’s great return, and he just turned out to be the mimic wearing one of its retarded costumes. The mimic is a lame, poorly thought out excuse to say “Aftons back, but he’s not really back.”
I LOVE! this theory, you make a lot of really good points, I mean, why would it be the mimic again, he already lured us down their to set him free, to manipulate Cassie any further would be unnecessary at that point
What if they plan to go back to that whole haunted Animatronics thing of the old Games? Cassie dies and possesses Roxanne. Since this is more than just a automated Robot of old it's like two Personas in one Body, which is why Roxanne says "Cassie" when she notices
I would also like to point out that it is explicitly shown that the Glamrock Animatronics can still clearly function and operate whilst being decapitated, like with what we see with Glamrock Freddy " and we see him go through a very similar scenario with him being torn to ribbons by S.T.A.F.F bots." So if the Mimic had indeed manage to destroy Roxy with the whole "Ripping heads and limbs off the Animatronics/Humans" ordeal, that doesn't exclude the possibility of Roxy still managing to survive the scenario.
Hey Hex here is a video idea I came up with. Have you heard a finessing game called bloody nights it’s a pretty good fan game about Fred bears family diner I need to fight off Fred bear and spring Bonnie kindly for naff one. Well there’s also three more animatronics with that there is a puppet in the back of your office at the flash, a flashlight if she’s there to get her to go away and there’s another Fred bear like a fat version. He makes noises at your door because it’s voice box is broken and where it gets to your doors you have to shut it and then there’s another Spring run which is called peekaboo you’ll be on the cameras and on the cameras if you see him going to your office at the shut the door immediately before it gets to the door just one of my favorite fan games let something I really wanna see you play cause it’s pretty good if you don’t wanna play that here is another one just play Fnaf 3 that’s one of my favorite Fnaf games Scott made for me well yeah I think it’ll be a cool video idea well since you don’t play much about Fnaf, I don’t think you’re gonna take this video idea what this is something I’m thinking in my head❤❤❤ So I guess have a nice day

We don't know how many years have passed since SB when Ruin takes place so Burntrap not being down there at that time is very normal. And if Burntrap was indeed not real, then how do you explain there being power down there? There are no people working there anymore. Why would someone need electricity in there? And how about the advanced Scooper? Only William Afton knows how to build it.

Roxane is dead because why would it be Roxy helping Cassie again? That would be twice. Also, you can hear the mimic ripping out Roxy’s voice box and experimenting with the voices such as crying. Roxane is blind making it impossible for her to go from a cave to a deep sinkhole in a matter of three minutes. She couldn’t have fallen down or else she would break. Also, because of her voice box being ripped out makes it impossible for her to talk. Why did Roxane not help with the case if she survived? You had great reason for the mimic not luring her, but it counters most of the more sensible reasons. The mimic could just need a snack.
I don't think Cassie is dead she might still be alive. We don't know if the elevator is the Canon ending. The scooper ending could be canon. Also there's a 4th secret ending in the files too

I like to think that maybe Cassie will become a villain due to her only human friend dumping her down an elevator shaft after trying to save him. She'd have the likes of Roxy and Eclipse/Sun(?) on her side. If she were to be a villain, it would be willingly. But I don't see her harming kids for no reason. Just maybe Gregory. Unless that moment REALLY shifted her view on humanity as a whole, which would be understandable since animatronic friends at that point are better than whatever she had going on with Gregory and her absent father lol. It's hard to see her being a villain BUT a timeskip could do that to her. Plus it would give the Glamrocks even more importance if she's down there fixing them up (she has the means, plus they know how to guide people into fixing themselves, apparently)
Alright I guess I’m the one to say this cause no one else will… The game after ruin is Help Wanted which probably won’t prove Hex wrong, and the game after ( this was confirmed in an interview ) is a fredbears game ( they said “ the origins of the series so that’s my guess )

I don’t think that was Gregory talking to Cassie in the elevator at all, and it is possible for Cassie to survive the elevator. She probably got her bell rung and a bit banged up, but I think she survived and Roxy also survived the Mimic. I doubt Cassie will be the next “Vanny”, or god forbid the next Charlie.
I’d say that there is a 50/50 chance for the voice to be either Roxann or The Mimic. If it’s Roxann, like you think then it would make sense, but considering the only contributions steelwool has made to the fnaf lore were reviving all of the characters that already had an ending and creating the Mimic (both really shitty things) it wouldn’t surprise me if they chose to make the voice at the end the Mimic (even tho it would be stupid)
I actually FULLY agree with everything you said, (Including hating the mimic lol) because it would make NO sense for the mimic to be the one to say Cassie's name at the end, yes we know it can mimic Roxy its literally in the name, but why would it? Cassie literally set it free, why would the mimic want to help her out in the first place after trying to kill her? it makes more sense narratively for it to want to trap her down there instead as "payback" I guess (which would explain the mimic tricking cassie and trapping her in the elevator by shutting off the power to it (you see something next to the elevator in the chase sequence that almost looks like a battery of some sort, powering the elevator) so even if she survives it would think without gregory she has no chance of escaping, not knowing it didn't fully destroy Roxy (you can faintly hear her say Cassie just before the mimic starts chasing you, why would the mimic do that?) It doesn't need Cassie to navigate the pizzaplex, considering it led her to it without being able to see anything outside of its room, it could probably find a way out on its own, Cassie did turn on the power to most of the building again anyway. Narratively it truly makes NO sense for the mimic to try to trick her a second time

Personally, i hate the mimic too. As good as ruin was, I hoped it was going to be something about ending the glitchtrap virus. Also leaving us on a cliffhanger annoyed me a lot. Atp I've been in the fandom for 8 years, and the story is so messed up that I wish they'd give us some satisfaction and give us a proper ending that ties up loose ends. Unless there's a second DLC coming out or HW2 is meant to be a continuation ofc.

Mimic is not Burntrap and the ending is full real Gregory talking but other than that, yeah Roxanne thing is weird indeed. I love how you refer to Entity as "Mr. Man" 😂 7:20 As for this part, I think William/Glitchtrap is far from gone. It explains why Gregory was in the Pizzaplex at the same time as Cassie but who lied to us about him not being there. And how he was missing this whole time. It's all explained by William still controlling Gregory in some way, just like he did while making Gregory kill the therapists and in the book story called GGY. And it's a known fact that souls can get fractured. Souls can be torn to pieces, thus explaining how William/Glitchtrap can never die now. And I doubt we'll be playing as Cassie in HW 2 because it's all about Sister Location. We're returning to the origins of the Mimic. That's why Moon is in HW 2, because it's also a Mimic.

Roxy found her because of MXES sending out one final distress signal before his deactivation. Also no offense but this theory feels like massive cope for somebody's favorite character getting killed, but you know what? There's some fair points brought up in it. However, I feel like the Mimic IS the one using Roxy's voice at the end. I think the Mimic wants a new human servant and in order for that to happen, it needs to regain Cassie's trust. So it makes her think Gregory has betrayed her and it will sympathize with her plight and say that the only way they're going to get out is if they cooperate. So it uses Roxy's voice to try and connect with her and use something familiar. I don't know, that's just my take on it.
I mean you aren’t wrong about the cope thing, but it was also because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Much like Ruin Roxannes design back in may, “the mimic isn’t Roxanne” was the ONLY thing I could think of after I thought about it. But you also have some fair points about if it’s the Mimic. I wanted to bring some points about your video that add more to the fact she survived: 1. Cassie will be gravely injured after the crash. So it makes sense for someone like Roxy to find her and not the Mimic who will ultimately just behead her. 2. Unlike previously because Mimic was trapped in that sinkhole, he doesn't require anymore more assistance other than himself now that he's free to reach the surface and do as he pleases with the costumes he has in the room. 3. The game code refers to her line as Roxy during the credits, compared to Mimic as Gregory was labelled as "Grimic" for all his lines including those he reused from Gregory. 4. All that is hear through the fight are sounds of stuff being thrown or hit. It makes sense because when you look back at the room you can see boxes and the big objects holding those costumes. Mimic wanted to knock out Roxy quickly to proceed in killing Cassie. 5. From a storytelling perspective, you're right about the bad idea of just reconstructing the Ruin DLC with Cassie once again falling for the same trick twice when she undoubtedly will be skeptical from now on. Especially with how popular Roxy has become now combined with the huge impact she's left. It would make all that effort in building her redemption worthless if she is just destroyed in just 30 seconds. Roxy is still alive but she lost the fight. The Mimic incapacitated her, left her behind, and rushed to kill Cassie before she could escape but now that the elevator seemingly did the work, he can leave through the hole in the wall and reach the surface.

I agree with the you hex. Why would they leave such a "cliffhanger" and not unitize it? It wouldn't make sense, of course a lot of things in the franchise don't make sense but I hope steel wool have learned a lesson with the main game and now ruin. Hopefully they continue Cassie's and Roxanne's story because there's a lot of opportunity what would be missed.
To add to this:
1. Roxy's ultimate fate is ambiguous by *design*. As such, there is no way to conclusively prove that she lived or died. I know a lot of people point to the sounds of Roxy and Mimic's fight as "proof" that she died, but the fight literally just ends with the sound of a metal impact followed by the sound of something slamming into a rocky surface. It sounds less like Roxy 100% died and more like the Mimic just slammed her into the wall or something.
2. The Mimic has been working for *hours* to reel Cassie in. Sure, his primary goal was to escape, but I'm sure he had been looking forward to killing her as well. If Gregory and Cassie weren't talking while the Mimic fought with Roxanne, Cassie would've been halfway through the tunnels by the time the Mimic emerged. Because of this, the Mimic would've wanted to end the fight as soon as possible so he could pursue Cassie before she got away, so he wouldn't have taken the time to properly kill off Roxanne if it was easier to simply knock her out or block her off.
3. Roxanne Wolf has quickly become one of the most popular FNAF characters (go check out Steel Wool Studio's TH-cam page, she's on their banner), so purely from a business standpoint, it'd be stupid to permanently kill her off.
4. With Ruin ending the way it did, both Roxy and Cassie now have a reason to hate Gregory and seek revenge. Scott and/or Steel Wool may have set this up in order to have an equal and opposing force to Gregory and Glamrock Freddy (who might be fully repaired by now. I have a theory that Gregory and Vanessa retrieved Freddy's original body from FazerBlast and replaced it with a prototype body so that Fazbear Entertainment wouldn't notice that they took it, and they used parts from the Prototype's head to make a security node and installed it on Roxanne, which explains her weird faceplate). This might serve to replace the Afton vs Emily or Afton vs Vengeful Spirit(s) dynamic that existed in the old games. Like, there might be an actual legit narrative reason why Cassie shares her name with the vengeful spirit that possessed Golden Freddy.
I understand the revenge part, I honestly hope Cassie survived the elevator fall and reunited with Roxy and try to escape the Pizzaplex together and hopefully Chica and Eclipse join them too, I hope they don’t go the Cassie dies and becomes a vengeful spirit thing, That’s just me though, I honestly hope they just move on from the past games and just go with new things for the new characters, Don’t hate me please.
And another thing, it’s also possible that The Mimic dropped the elevator and not Gregory, Which I think is more likely, Of course Cassie won’t know that at first but if The real Gregory ever comes back, He can explain that he didn’t drop the elevator and gain Cassie’s trust back.
I highly doubt it that Vanessa and Gregory gave Roxanne a new faceplate(doesn’t matter whether it’s a prototype or not). In the endo room, we see many endos and they all have the same endos as Roxanne and Freddy and the rest of them have. If they did have a prototype endo we would’ve seen it because why would they remove a prototype endoskeleton from there. We actually hear Vanessa say something along the lines of “Let’s wait until tomorrow where we slap your casing on a new endo”. This clearly means that if the pizzaplex DID make a prototype Freddy, they’d have to change the endo it had. If a prototype endo did have a problem they would just “slap the casing on a new endo” because we know you don’t need the casing to think, the endos have their own mind and programming, just that when they replace it with a new casing they add personality to it. The “prototype” on Freddy’s foot is most likely because the team at the pizzaplex KNEW that the animatronics are malfunctioning so they became the prototypes and they covered their feet so that the public wouldn’t think that they are prototypes and can glitch. It’s possible that in the universe, there is a law where you cannot have a prototype serve as an animatronic for safety laws. So, they knew they had to keep the pizzaplex running and they covered it up.

I’d be neat to have Roxy walk around still blind, but knows there are special things that need to be done to get to good ending. And due to them being BLIND, they need you and your faz wrench to do it.

Totally agree with the theory that it can't be the mimic. When Cassie gets dunked on in the elevator she's alone, all she has is her roxy-talky. Conveniently the last room we see Roxy in is the same room where the other...freddy-talky(?) was dropped by the mimic, so it makes a lot more sense for the name "roxy-talky" to be hinting at her being the one talking at the end (and possibly going forward if they pick things up where they left off). Even if she was left in a damaged state on the floor after duking it out with "the tall asshat" she'd likely still be able to make her way to that other walkie talkie to communicate with Cassie again. overall ver nice theerie

Here's some affirmation, because I agree with you. Because narrative wise, this makes more sense. At the same time I don't trust this franchise to make things that are good for its narrative. Still though I agree with the theory and hope it's right (plus I came to the exact same conclusion after Ruin with this basically being the theory I crafted as well). Plus think of all the merchandise they could make out of a game with a friendly Roxanne! They're leaving so much money on the table if they kill this popular character off so soon after she's become even more popular and well liked in the franchise than before. People like money, Roxy alive equals more money than if she wasn't, therefore Roxy is alive.
I'll admit Fnaf has its flaws, but that's ok. Its still a cool franchise.
I think/hope Roxy will become a new puppet type character. Animatronic finds dead/dying child, tries to console it, ends up haunted by the child and is now the protector of the other animatronics.
It would be interesting for them both to have conversations within their own head, Roxy still intact and is kept alive by Cassie’s undying will, while also keeping Cassie alive, much like Cassidy but good. Withered Bonnie can see without eyes, which could imply that the spirit possessing him can still see, by absorbing Cassie’s remnant she has a new way of seeing again.

Affirmation time, because I agree with the theory that Roxy lives. The Mimic has literally no reason to trick Cassie anymore cuz it got what it wanted. It doesn't need her anymore. And while I don't think Cassie is dead, I'd imagine that being dropped down an elevator shaft wouldn't exactly be great for her health, so I doubt she's in any shape to get up and walk around. My bet is that whenever we continue this part of the story, we could end up playing as Roxy, and attempt to find Cassie after she got dropped down the elevator shaft. Who knows, maybe the main threat in that could be The Blob, because we know that's still roaming around the place

When I heard Roxy call out "Cassie" after the credits, I was like "Let's gooo, Roxy is alive! Save our girl Cassie!". But then I found all those people saying that was actually the mimic, and I was like "Wtf are you on?". Seriously, that was obviously Roxy and it's stupid how so many people try to convince others that this is the Mimic. If the mimic found Cassie after the elevator crash, it would just kill her lol...just how it was trying to do during the whole chase sequence. I thought there was a possibility that the Mimic needs our help to escape, but it can clearly just use the elevator that Cassie came in from. Even if the voice came from the Mimic who needs our help, there is no way Cassie would ever help it or even trust its voice again. The mimic isn't stupid and Cassie isn't stupid. The mimic trying to trick Cassie *again* wouldn't work, it's a dumb plan, especially after the ruin ending

I too was confused on how Roxy made her way to the Pizza caverns or tussled with scrap metal, but when a human loses one of their senses, their other senses get super buffed.
Meaning if you lose your eyesight, you have incredible hearing, and vice versa.
Which makes that fight so much cooler, because she was judging where the mimic was and what he was about to do just by noises, and bought Cassie like a whole 40 seconds. Impressive.

I will admit the endings to Ruin gave us more questions then answers, which isn't satisfying, but one thing is clear, Steel Wool did a good job with the DLC. Not only did they make it free, but they also gave us a cool physical design to what The Mimic looks like. Let's hope Help Wanted 2, will give us clarification, and maybe answer some questions?

Also, I'm glad Roxanne is still around, she's my fav animatronic and I'm glad they didn't just get of her, not for your source of income, but because she's Roxanne. Imagine Roxanne being your guide and we get to explore her relationship more with humans such as Cassie, it would be one heck of a game. Probably one of the best in the franchise. I already like the idea of Cassie and Roxanne being a duo more than Gregory and Freddy. Freddy is too obvious and crap, and Gregory is just annoying at times. Cassie feels real, I love her character way more than Gregory and Roxanne isn't just insecure, but generally seems to care about Cassie and I would love to see a game focused on them. I'm sure some emotions will be felt.
I think you're right, like the mimic is free now and Roxanne clearly can handle some rough situations, she survived being deactivated some how. The fact that Roxanne, while blind, managed to get her way all the way to Cassie to hold the mimic off says a lot about how much she cares for Cassie, but also the struggles she's willing to endure trying to find her.

This is only my opinion but I find that the relationship between Roxanne and Cassie does not have the same impact as that of Freddy and Gregory. Freddy did not know Gregory and yet helped him immediately until the end and you really feel a dad and son vibe. And sure Roxanne and Cassie didn't have as much time to develop but for me it was just rushed and forced. The way Roxanne acted with her seemed like it was part of her program nothing more. It could have been Cassie like it could have been another kid.. But like why is Cassie special lmao, attending a child's birthday is her job she did that a million times

Roxy was saying that everyone loves her(when Gregory was watching through the vent)everyone wants to be her, and yet her fear that everyone doesn't truly care about her was completely right, everyone except for Cassie, the one that truly loves her.
Cassie is a special case, Roxy connected with her.

Although one thing I didn't get it right is that when Cassie deactivates Roxy, Roxy actually _see_ the Faz-wrench, you can see by her line and expression when the faz-wrench is getting closer. Now, I have no idea why, but maybe it has something to do with the VANNI mask? There must be an explanation why Roxy can actually go to places without actually seeing after Cassie deactivated her

It’s clear that those endings weren’t canon, aside from the neutral ending, which seems like the most canon one. The cliffhanger could imply Roxy knew that Cassie was still in danger, she’d reboot herself again to keep protecting her.
In the Scooper ending, Roxy lets herself die knowing that Cassie would finally be safe enough to escape by herself.
Whereas in the Brazil ending, I doubt Roxy would want to be alive to see or even know that one of the few people to care about her is torn limb from limb.
Roxy had learned to rely on hearing, probably being now better than before, plus there’d be an echo bouncing throughout the cave. Logically, she would investigate as that crash happens to be coming from the same direction that she saw Cassie run in, so it would make sense for her to get up to see if Cassie had made it out, only to be surprised she is still down there, based on the tone of her voice “Cassie?”. As if she is about to ask, ‘What are you still doing down here, I thought you took the elevator out?’
Mini Theory: Roxy was able to follow Cassie in time because after deactivating, her mind temporarily had access to the security camera systems to follow where she was going. How she was able to see in the first place was when she was deactivated her mind was uploaded to the network, my evidence to prove that this was the case was when you wear the mask after deactivating her, you hear her crying, but this is actually her crying in real time after being uploaded and not just from before as a reference.
Then she would be re-downloaded back to her body once the reboot was complete, and the reason why the reboot took way longer than Sun/Moon did was because she was close to the sinkhole, and the network coverage is very limited and slow over there, also as shown by Gregory’s poor connection through the staff bots, which was nearby to that area too. Some reboots and self-reactivations just take ages like when Glamrock Freddy did on stage.

what ive been taking as canon is fuhnaff's theory that ruin is a parallel to the twisted ones
the evidence:
Charlie in the book, thinks her brother is stuck in a mall. - Cassie thinks gregory is stuck in the pizzaplex
The mall was set to be demolished, but got destroyed by a tornado - wrecking ball in raceway, earthquake destroys pizzaplex
Charlie finds a cave with green mushrooms, a waterfall, and a facility with carnival themed mascots - literally the sinkhole and the fnaf 6 location
Charlie thinks her brother is behind a door covered in concrete (cmom its already obvious)
Its a trap, but before charlie gets attacked, foxy tackles the animatronic (its even the original counterpart come onnn)
In the end, it seems like charlie got killed by the twisted ones, but then all of her friends are looking surprised and one even says: "charlie?"

the first book (previous to the twisted ones) tells the story of a group of friends exploring a mall that was built over an old freddy's pizzeria. While exploring it, they end up finding springtrap. This is way less clear but could be security breach.
And the third book is now basically the key of the next dlc or game, and guess where it takes place?

and it makes sense that the mimic wouldn't eliminate roxanne after all, she's blind so she souldn't be able to track him down easily in a place she doesn't know (at least not supposed to but she did somehow find cassie down there really fast) plus he wanted to get cassie and he needed to be fast as she was escaping so why even take time to "kill" Roxanne

Maybe Roxanne made it down there because right before the MXES got turned off it was able to ping Cassie's location as a place an animatronic would need to get to immediately? The real question is how did Roxanne jump between Cassie and the mimic if she couldn't see either of them? She didn't step on Cassie? Is that why Roxanne looks like a bat now?

Since we were left to believe that Burntrap was Afton’s great return, and he just turned out to be the mimic wearing one of its retarded costumes. I would also like to point out that it is explicitly shown that the Glamrock Animatronics can still clearly function and operate whilst being decapitated, like with what we see with Glamrock Freddy " and we see him go through a very similar scenario with him being torn to ribbons by S.T.A.F.F bots." So if the Mimic had indeed manage to destroy Roxy with the whole "Ripping heads and limbs off the Animatronics/Humans" ordeal, that doesn't exclude the possibility of Roxy still managing to survive the scenario.
Hey Hex here is a video idea I came up with. Have you heard a finessing game called bloody nights it’s a pretty good fan game about Fred bears family diner I need to fight off Fred bear and spring Bonnie kindly for naff one. Well there’s also three more animatronics with that there is a puppet in the back of your office at the flash, a flashlight if she’s there to get her to go away and there’s another Fred bear like a fat version. We don't know how many years have passed since SB when Ruin takes place so Burntrap not being down there at that time is very normal. And if Burntrap was indeed not real, then how do you explain there being power down there? There are no people working there anymore. Why would someone need electricity in there? And how about the advanced Scooper? Only William Afton knows how to build it.

Roxane is dead because why would it be Roxy helping Cassie again? That would be twice. Also, you can hear the mimic ripping out Roxy’s voice box and experimenting with the voices such as crying. Roxane is blind making it impossible for her to go from a cave to a deep sinkhole in a matter of three minutes. She couldn’t have fallen down or else she would break. Also, because of her voice box being ripped out makes it impossible for her to talk. Why did Roxane not help with the case if she survived? You had great reason for the mimic not luring her, but it counters most of the more sensible reasons. The mimic could just need a snack.
I don't think Cassie is dead she might still be alive. We don't know if the elevator is the Canon ending. The scooper ending could be canon. Also there's a 4th secret ending in the files too

I like to think that maybe Cassie will become a villain due to her only human friend dumping her down an elevator shaft after trying to save him. She'd have the likes of Roxy and Eclipse/Sun(?) on her side. If she were to be a villain, it would be willingly. But I don't see her harming kids for no reason. Just maybe Gregory. Unless that moment REALLY shifted her view on humanity as a whole, which would be understandable since animatronic friends at that point are better than whatever she had going on with Gregory and her absent father lol. It's hard to see her being a villain BUT a timeskip could do that to her. Plus it would give the Glamrocks even more importance if she's down there fixing them up (she has the means, plus they know how to guide people into fixing themselves, apparently)
Honestly, I think Hex is right, it wouldn't make sense for the mimic to use the same trick to Cassie, because he would have already escaped.

I don’t think that was Gregory talking to Cassie in the elevator at all, and it is possible for Cassie to survive the elevator. She probably got her bell rung and a bit banged up, but I think she survived and Roxy also survived the Mimic.
I doubt Cassie will be the next “Vanny”, or god forbid the next Charlie.

I’d say that there is a 50/50 chance for the voice to be either Roxann or The Mimic. If it’s Roxann, like you think then it would make sense, but considering the only contributions steelwool has made to the fnaf lore were reviving all of the characters that already had an ending and creating the Mimic (both really shitty things) it wouldn’t surprise me if they chose to make the voice at the end the Mimic (even tho it would be stupid)
I actually FULLY agree with everything you said, (Including hating the mimic lol) because it would make NO sense for the mimic to be the one to say Cassie's name at the end, yes we know it can mimic Roxy its literally in the name, but why would it? Cassie literally set it free, why would the mimic want to help her out in the first place after trying to kill her? it makes more sense narratively for it to want to trap her down there instead as "payback" I guess (which would explain the mimic tricking cassie and trapping her in the elevator by shutting off the power to it (you see something next to the elevator in the chase sequence that almost looks like a battery of some sort, powering the elevator) so even if she survives it would think without gregory she has no chance of escaping, not knowing it didn't fully destroy Roxy (you can faintly hear her say Cassie just before the mimic starts chasing you, why would the mimic do that?)
It doesn't need Cassie to navigate the pizzaplex, considering it led her to it without being able to see anything outside of its room, it could probably find a way out on its own, Cassie did turn on the power to most of the building again anyway. Narratively it truly makes NO sense for the mimic to try to trick her a second time

Personally, i hate the mimic too. As good as ruin was, I hoped it was going to be something about ending the glitchtrap virus. Also leaving us on a cliffhanger annoyed me a lot. Atp I've been in the fandom for 8 years, and the story is so messed up that I wish they'd give us some satisfaction and give us a proper ending that ties up loose ends. Unless there's a second DLC coming out or HW2 is meant to be a continuation ofc.

7:20 As for this part, I think William/Glitchtrap is far from gone. It explains why Gregory was in the Pizzaplex at the same time as Cassie but who lied to us about him not being there. And how he was missing this whole time. It's all explained by William still controlling Gregory in some way, just like he did while making Gregory kill the therapists and in the book story called GGY.
And it's a known fact that souls can get fractured. Souls can be torn to pieces, thus explaining how William/Glitchtrap can never die now.
And I doubt we'll be playing as Cassie in HW 2 because it's all about Sister Location. We're returning to the origins of the Mimic. That's why Moon is in HW 2, because it's also a Mimic.

Also no offense but this theory feels like massive cope for somebody's favorite character getting killed, but you know what? There's some fair points brought up in it.
However, I feel like the Mimic IS the one using Roxy's voice at the end. I think the Mimic wants a new human servant and in order for that to happen, it needs to regain Cassie's trust. So it makes her think Gregory has betrayed her and it will sympathize with her plight and say that the only way they're going to get out is if they cooperate. So it uses Roxy's voice to try and connect with her and use something familiar. I don't know, that's just my take on it.
I mean you aren’t wrong about the cope thing, but it was also because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Much like Ruin Roxannes design back in may, “the mimic isn’t Roxanne” was the ONLY thing I could think of after I thought about it.
But you also have some fair points about if it’s the Mimic. I would normally say “Hope you’re right!” But that would entail Roxanne being dead, so for the purposes of keeping my channel alive, I hope you’re wrong.
@@HexZ_ Logically talking the idea of rehashing Vanny would be boring too. You could so much more with Roxy and Cassie being together and escaping. I wanted to bring some points about your video that add more to the fact she survived:
1. Cassie will be gravely injured after the crash. So it makes sense for someone like Roxy to find her and not the Mimic who will ultimately just behead her.
2. Unlike previously because Mimic was trapped in that sinkhole, he doesn't require anymore more assistance other than himself now that he's free to reach the surface and do as he pleases with the costumes he has in the room.
3. The game code refers to her line as Roxy during the credits, compared to Mimic as Gregory was labelled as "Grimic" for all his lines including those he reused from Gregory.
4. All that is hear through the fight are sounds of stuff being thrown or hit. It makes sense because when you look back at the room you can see boxes and the big objects holding those costumes. Mimic wanted to knock out Roxy quickly to proceed in killing Cassie.
5. From a storytelling perspective, you're right about the bad idea of just reconstructing the Ruin DLC with Cassie once again falling for the same trick twice when she undoubtedly will be skeptical from now on. Especially with how popular Roxy has become now combined with the huge impact she's left. It would make all that effort in building her redemption worthless if she is just destroyed in just 30 seconds.
Roxy is still alive but she lost the fight. The Mimic incapacitated her, left her behind, and rushed to kill Cassie before she could escape but now that the elevator seemingly did the work, he can leave through the hole in the wall and reach the surface.
You are definitely wrong about the cope thing, there's multiple things that don't make sense.

No one said that line. Only "Gregory?" "Give up" "Somewhere" "I... Cassie" are heard. The first two and final possibly Roxy and the others almost unintelligible are Mimic's.
