My L310 can print 90% of page extremely crisp, but the footer - 1-2 cm of page, is starting to be blurry and colors are begining to separate.

Rest of the page is perfectly sharp. I suspect that Epson built in artificial obsolescence to this product, but I'm actually willing to solve this problem now, since it's my 2nd Epson with exactly the same problem.

You can manually adjust the L1800 bi-adjustment values using the resetter tool. Go to bi-D adjustment, click print, then choose the number without noticeable banding then enter the values to the blanks..
